Not worth it

Good plot but it just felt empty. Like it was just an outline and leaves you wanting more… not in a can’t wait for the next book kind of way but like that’s it? I kept waiting for a twist or a turn but it’s just is what it is.

great reimagining of Beauty and the Beast

This is a first person narrative, well read and full of interesting world building. This is a fantasy setting with dragons and low magic. There is child abuse and sexual assault as backstory. It is never on the page but it is discussed. I like how it is handled and how the story works towards hope and healing.

Great story, great narrator, and interesting characters!!!!! It was a nice time and good writting.

Indian Queen Badass

The plot was solid, but it's like an onion, you're slowly peeling back the mystery of the FMC, who she is and where she came from. There are still many unanswered questions, enough for me to want to read the next book.

it is a slow starter but once it picks up it's hard to put down. Also who doesn't love an Indian Queen badass!!! Love the representation!!

Nice twist the the moder fairytale. The narrator did a good job. Can't wait to see how it ends

Depth of character motivation!

Everything for everyone is on the line. Looking forward to the rest of the characters development!

This story starts out a bit confusing but the imagery and passion grow on you. It’s a wonderful story.

So the story is good but it kinda rips off of beast and beauty by Chanda Hann. I could be wrong but of beast and beauty came out in 2019 and this came out in 2021

Great story

I love the narrator's voice. The story is well developed and intriguing. I highly recommend it.

Unique Beauty and the Beast retelling

A delight. A darker story than one might expect, which was a wonderful surprise. The tactfully implied abuse and trauma also bring a maturity to the tale. Genuinely a slow burn romantic tale.
One of my favorite narrators, so this was a great audiobook to engage in.
