Exciting & Wholesome story

I love the characters. ok, I don't like Willie, but I also see her merit in the story. I just don't like her continued contention with the main characters. She was the same in the previous series. I just would of thought after 20 years she would have eased up a bit. Now I think about it, I do see her worry and her love which is why she is so hard on Gabe but I also wish she would trust him. She is just not good at showing her feelings so she acts out?ok, maybe I just needed to write it out to realize her motivation. Anyway, I am excited about the mystery of the atories and the overall mystery behind Silvia. Even though the love story is slow, I do like the slow burn because it keeps me coming back. I can't wait till the next book...every time! thank you for writing this awesome series!

Storyline is remarkable!

So innovative!! I love all the characters and I can’t wait for book #5!! Thank goodness I stumbled upon this author!

Another great story with the Glass Library family while setting up the next one! One of my absolute favorite series along with Glass and Steele of course!

Movement forward and side trips

London, Summer, 1920
A trip to Ipswich identifies Sylvia’s mother as Mary Anne Fulgate but there’s nothing to identify a father. A trip to the Post Office to collect dead letters that were addressed to her grandparents leads to an investigation into the disappearance of a young man. They deal with a loan shark, a car crash, identity theft, an attempted stabbing and a dead body. The threat of abduction and worse still hovers over Gabriel.
Hussey does an ok job with narration.

Enjoyable story

This book was an enjoyable book to listen while I did chores aged the house. Not too fast that you would miss something, not too detailed you miss a lot if distracted. Just right to learn more about the main characters and their daily lives.

The two main characters were wonderful! But the supporting cast were just as intriguing.

It kept me engaged, the whole way through. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll just say there were a couple of true gasp out loud moments. Can’t wait for the next one, but am going to start the Glass and Steel series, of which I was unaware until I started this one.
And, the narrator! Wonderful!

It lost the passion of the first set of books

I don’t like how they’re trying to drag out the first plot point I mean it’s obvious if you read the glass and steel series who this girl’s parents are

Great Series

I really enjoy the series and look forward to book 5. I really think the narrator is extremely good - makes listening to the series even more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The saga continues…..

I basically like the series but find Willy incredibly annoying!!!! arrgh!
The romance is also annoying because it’s so slow ! I get through the stories like you get through holidays with relatives…
you’re always gonna go back because you know them and love them, but they’re still going to annoy you !

The tenacity that they never gave up till they found d kit the truth

I like that there is not bad language I don’t appreciate possible lesbians with Willy
