Acerca de esta escucha
If you have dreamed of owning your own coffee shop and saved money from working a regular nine-to-five gig, this is more than just a business venture. It's a chance to create something and free yourself from the conventional corporate environment.
If you're like me, you've spent long hours at a boring and unfulfilling job, and now you want to do something worthwhile with the rest of your life. And why not a coffee shop? After all, selling coffee should be easy. It's a legal, addictive stimulant that many people need, want, and love. How hard can it be to succeed?
Well, that simplistic view ignores the many circumstances that make or break coffee shops. In this audiobook I will lay out each of these factors as well as the common traps novice proprietors fall into. This book will provide you with a simple series of steps to make sure you succeed where others have failed.

Historia
In an age of Twitter, smartphones, and self-service kiosks, high-tech but still high-touch customer service is the answer. Today’s customers are a hard bunch to crack. Time-strapped, screen-addicted, value-savvy, and socially engaged, their expectations are tougher than ever for a business to keep up with. They are empowered like never before and expect businesses to respect that sense of empowerment - lashing out at those that don’t. Take heart: Old-fashioned customer service, fully retooled for today’s blistering pace and digitally connected reality, is what you need to build the kind of loyal customer base that allows you to survive - and thrive.

As a result of this customer service revolution, people are being treated differently, better, and in a way like never before. This is a result of how companies and management are treating their employees and how employees are treating each other and the customer - which ultimately permeates into people’s personal lives at home and in their communities.

A Little Short but Great
The narrator was good overall. The book is quite knowledgeable and from someone with experience with multiple cafes. I wish it was a bit longer and in depth but it is concise for the length. You can learn some insight and even see a different view on the coffee shop experience for you and your customer. Worth the listen.

Only Basic Information
I thought the book would be longer with more information. Not worth one credit, had some good information but it’s mostly just basic

slim
30 minutes of zero substance, just a slim overview. it's really equivalent to a first chapter and not enough to be labeled an entire book.

title is misleading
this is a short book that does not give any information on a business plan for a coffee shop. it doesn't mention any elements of a business plan. the title is very misleading, and the book was a disappointment.
