This book covers everything you need to know about coffee! It starts with the coffee bean and how to source and roast, and covers everything in between to getting your very own coffee shop set up. Lots and lots of advice for budding coffee entrepreneurs.

Zoning, who needs it? You do!

I honestly did not think about things such as permits and was surprised that something like a coffee shop would need that. This book really covers everything from equipment to operating expenses and needs. This author makes sure you are well prepared to start this venture. Read this book and you'll be well prepared.

The Whole Business of Beans is a book anyone who wants to venture into the coffee industry should read or listen to. Both books in this series taught me everything I needed to know about how to operate my own coffee shop. Whether it’s learning how to source beans, or developing a business model that works, every chapter is full of useful insight. It’s all laid out well, in-depth, and it actually makes what sounds like a hard task look easy. Now I am completely set up and ready to start my own coffee truck. this guide put you in a great position even if you just love coffee but don't really know anything about it!

Fantastic Book for Drive to Work

I listened to this book during my car ride to work the past week, and I absolutely loved it. The narrator does a great job of drawing the listener in. I also enjoyed learning how to make a coffee bean business and hearing from the experts. This is something that has helped me to consider a career change!

Coffee Lovers Dream

When I first started listening, I was not sure what to expect. What I found was a riveting book that outlines the coffee business. While I am not looking to start my own business right now, this is something I would definitely consider in retirement and definitely recommend giving a listen.

this book doesn't just talk about opening a coffee shop. this book goes beyond that, and talks about how to perfect coffee. at the end it'll talk about opening a perfect coffee shop, but it gives you the knowledge and insight on what goes into the perfect cup of coffee. well written and well narrated

Not suited for audiobook format

Not an engaging book. Useful facts and data buried in dull and bullet point like narration. This is probably a nice resource guide for beginners, bit no idea how large the book is in real life, and whether vendor/supplier references provided are not already out of date.

Do I love coffee? Yes! Do I know enough to run my own coffee shop? NO! Well not until now, this author answered every question I had and explained things in a way I could easily unerstand. There was nothing left to the imagination and I was able to write down everything I now know I need. This is the book you need to open and operate your own coffee business.

Grab a cup of coffee and a notebook

As soon as I started and the narrator was describing coffee I had to pause and go grab a cup. Then she started with extremely important informaiton and I had to start writing things done. This is a very helpful guide to starting a business of this type.

Coffee history anybody?

I was fully prepared to get an entrepreneurs cold business like take on this subject. However the author literally starts at the origin of coffee and brings it all the way to the end while keeping the reader/ listener engaged the entire time.
