Sweet and touching - apocalyptic food for thought.

Love the goodness of humanity seen in the main group of young people and people met along the way. That mixed with the painful and heartbreaking experiences makes for a great read!

Had me from the 1st chapter

I just finished the 4th book. Could hardly stop listening. WISH THERE WERE MORE! WONDERFUL READ!!!

Consistent theme

Touched on different scenarios and feelings based on actions. Overall, it was a good lighthearted read. Very good for young adults.

Characters

Love the story set up. Love the characters book. Remind me a Almost of a Red Dawn situation. Can’t wait to read the next book Definitely worth listening to. 

I liked how they worked together

This wasn’t a heavy book though it has some darker elements in it. It was very entertaining and I liked every main character and a lot of the side characters too. I enjoyed how the characters were both smart and practical but kept their compassion.

Very enjoyable and fun read

Much different than most of the EMP disaster books I have read. Not very realistic, but a fun read.

I feel like the narrator is such she knows what she’s doing and she’s really good at changing her voice and this is a very interesting book big thumbs up

Abridged

This book has had swear words removed. Not sure if anything else omitted. Didn't care for the narrator.

vibrant personalities of courageous young people.

Great story line. Choices made for life or tragedy, good or evil in shtf time. Humor in identifying true Canadians crossing the border to get back home.

Cliffhanger Alert

I loved the story. Many twists and turns with a lot of action. Great character development. BUT I HATE BOOKS THAT FORCE YOU TO BUY THE NEXT IN THE SERIES.
