Life Changer
This book changed my life. I loved listening to it and everything just clicked for me. It didn't just help my fitness but my mental health and nutrition. I found my North Star and it has helped me lose 16lbs in a month. I loved this book!

It will change you for the better (but you don’t have to buy their hocked products)
The good: excellent showmanship. It actually sounds like the person who wrote these phrases READ them, even though he didn’t. Great job reading this. Not like a used car salesman. But very charged with emotion and easy to track as I went about my day.
THIS BOOK GOT ME EXCITED. 90% of it is some of the most useful, encouraging, informative and heart-touching motivational psychology I’ve heard yet. (And I have quite a few of these!)
The not-so-good: If I’m going to pay full price for you to hock a whole line of Supplements at me for several chapters... the least you could do is give me A COUPON CODE or FREE SAMPLE offer. I feel a little ripped off. I was not prepared for that.
It really, really disappointed me. I absolutely will not relisten to the Nutrition chapter. I got through it. Thank goodness. Never have to do THAT again.
Was it worth the 60 minute Ad in the middle? Yes, I believe it was. But take my word for it, you can skip it or not. You should be able to manage your own food and nutrition without buying into someone’s marketing. It’s 100% unnecessary to read this chapter as everyone already tells you to eat more fruit and vegetables and drink more water.
I kinda want $5 back though for being “sold” while paying for this ‘advice’. *lol*
It really makes me appreciate other authors who up front tell you that they have no associations with supplement companies etc.
Still, worth adding this to your motivational collection. I woke up my first morning, without hitting the snooze button. And I have a whole new appreciation for my husband, my family, my job, the level of income, my family background, and my North Star picture of me on my 20th anniversary in 18 months. It could be a life changer.

Simply Broken Down
Devan simply breaks it down for you to find your why and how/what to do to achieve it. There are a few of his thoughts that a disagree with, but take with a grain of salt. As a former staff member and member of one of the Burn Boot Camp franchise locations, I can attest to Devan following what he has written about and the process does work. If you don't have a home gym, give Burn a try.

Amazing!!!
This is the best book I have ever read. I love it! Before I even finished it, I posted it on my Facebook page and told all of my Facebook friends to read it! I am so inspired, so motivated, and ready to do what is necessary to better my life all around. This is not just a fitness book, this is a book that will teach you practical ways to better your life overall and I feel so blessed to have found it.

I plan to listen to this again soon & take action
I I'm already doing a lot of what the author recommends. But he brings a fresh perspective and some structure that I plan to integrate into my day. I'm in touch with my North Star, my purpose, I want to spend my perfect day. But I do plan to do the 8 rituals exercise several times and fine-tune it. our time is precious but this book should bring pay back. that is, if you apply it.

Must Read!
Stop Starting Over is just what I needed to hear. Just like Devan has said, “You know what to do, just do it!” is so true for all aspects of life. This is a must read for everyone! I have a 35 min commute to work so I downloaded it here on Audible and I was finished with the book in 5 days. Great motivation.

Great motivational listen!
Devan Kline is an incredible source of both knowledge and motivation. He does a great job in this book of finding a balance between the two. This might be the first time I listened to a full audiobook on my commute without having to rewind bc I stopped paying attention. His words and the reader’s voice kept me hooked!
