Magic and an OP main character

Good start for a new series.

A lot of action and an OP main character.
A lot of fantasy tropes and elements, Elves, vampires, werecreatures etc.

Good dual narration by Giancarlo and Hannah.

Looking forward to book 3.

D Levesque delivers yet again. a great book with loads of character development and even more spice.

A gripping story!

As always, loved the dual narration as it always makes the story more vivid and real in my minds eye. Couple that with a wonderful story full of action, adventure, and fairy tale creatures? What’s not to love!!

Very enjoyable listen.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story flowed well and held my interest throughout. I was a bit concerned at first with the introduction of Roger, the “annoying/sarcastic sidekick” trope is something I typically find annoying, but in this case the character was balanced perfectly (sarcastic without being annoying). The narrators did an excellent job as well, and due to their performance and the quality of the story I will be picking up the next volume when it is released.

Magical Harem

The narrators did a awesome job. I have listened to books where the narrators just screw up the story because they are unable to bring out the characters.Giancarlo and Hannah make a great team. I’ll give a little away on this book. Imagine being able to power up your harem. Throughly enjoyed this book, will recommend.

Pleasant surprise

I received a free copy to review. That being said this is my first time listening to D Levesque and I was completely impressed. The story caught my interest quickly enough that it did not feel like "another self insert fantasy" book. And the narrators, wow, were on point! There were moments were the MC was in distress and I just thought he is really bringing his all to this. In my opinion it's totally worth one credit to give 2 books a try, and like me, find a new story that I can't wait to hear more from.

Love the supernatural, youll love this.

I greatly enjoyed this from start to finish. The story kicks into high gear fairly quick, gives some very memorable characters, and puts alot of supernatural elements into play while not being overbearing in the slightest. The narration was spectacular as Giancarlo and Hannah have yet again done an amazing job and make a great team. I really hope there is more coming to this series!

Excellent Duology

I was actually fairly impressed with this duology. I really hope there's more books in the series that get adapted. the narrators do an excellent work with the material. they are both top shelf.

This was quite the surprise

I bought the first book as an e-book back in 2020 when it was first released. Then picked up the sequel when it came out though I got it through kindle unlimited. I don't remember at this point whether or not I ever read the third one and I know I never read the 4th one as life got in the way. It was one of the first books that I came across by this author with the other one being “M.A.G.I. HUNTERS” which I highly recommend. So, seeing that the story is now getting the audio treatment was quite a pleasant surprise. The narration team is relatively new to me with me first coming across them in “Dashing Devil.” They are doing a pretty good job. Back to this book, however it appears that it is a four-book series for lack of a better descriptor with the complete story available in eBook form as a part of the kindle unlimited program if you happen to be a subscriber. Lastly, I'm simply going to say that I was thoroughly entertained and quite happy to have an opportunity to go back through the story. Right now, I'm just deciding whether or not I want to wait for the other two books to get the audio treatment or jump ahead into the e-books. Either way I will simply say well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the audio book listeners.

What a start to a series

Fantastic series so far, what a well developed world this is. The scope of this is awesome, universe reaching. Also the performances are amazing.
