The book was good and covered a lot of area. The most entertaining part of the book was about the authors early stages of hunting. As he matures we hear about hunting trips and he give his advise about what to buy for the hunt. Over all a good book if you are into hunting.

What made the experience of listening to Reflections from an Outdoorsman the most enjoyable?

We very much enjoyed Mr. McIver's stories about his early years of hunting. Those stories alone could fill a book, I think.

Where does Reflections from an Outdoorsman rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was alright, not great but informative. I could have listened much longer to the tales of hid childhood.

It was an interesting book about hunting and how the author got into the sport. There was a lot of information about what gun to buy and how to hunt deer I did not know. Good book for the beginner.

I ENJOYED THE STORIES ABOUT THE AUTHORS YOUTH AND HIS LACK OF HUNTING SKILLS.THAT WAS THE BEST PART OF THE BOOK!!

THIS BOOK IS A GREAT GIFT FOR THE HUNTER WHO IS JUST STARTING OUT. IT GOES OVER WHAT GUN TO BUY AND HOW TO HUNT. KNOWING ABOUT THE HABITS OF DEER OR TURKEY. IT IS A GOOD BOOK FOR THE PRICE AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT FOR THE BEGINNER.

Good information but terrible narration

I enjoyed the information included in the book but the narration was hard to get past.
