A great primer on Traditional Bow hunting

This book is not only informative but entertaining for Bowhunters whether new or experienced in the way of life. I found Rob’s approach on the subject to be passionate and genuine, he splices in stories and details though out the book keeping the reader wanting more.

Bow hunting 101

Although this book specifically deals with traditional bow hunting, it has good lessons for all bowhunters. Especially the lessons of conservation and ethical hunting. We must all raise our game to be the hunter who is respected and appreciated for their contributions to nature and it’s future.

Comprehensive, exciting, but more than anything, educational

What a phenomenal listen, Rohrbaugh balances the exciting anecdotes with the sobering realities of traditional bow hunting.

this is a great book for not only the traditional bowhunter, but anyone interested in preserving our hunting heritage, woodmanship and traditions that are important to all outdoorsman and hunters alike.

Great read

A different sort of hunting book. Unless your brain is a sponge, then good for a reread. I highly recommend this book and also suggest taking notes.... after you’ve read it all the way through the 1st time. I’m starting reading #2 now.

Great book!

Enjoyed this book very much. I'm getting into hunting and considering learning to shoot a bow instead of using a gun and this book certainly makes me want to continue pursuing this idea. Also there were great hunting stories, as well a technical info for established bow hunters. Get it!

Great book for those who love tradbow hunting

This was an awesome book! I highly recommend it to any bow hunters new and experienced alike. Some great knowledge and stories from the field.

Judgmental and Arrogant

Has some ok content but like so many hunters he has to go into the my way is the only way and if you do this it is not real hunting..

Cheesy.

Seemed to look for the chance to use catchy phrases or local colloquialisms, without the substantiated background to justify their use. I found that I could not buy into the storytelling.
