love this book and everything she writes, she is the queen after all.

the voices just aren't doing it for me like the last ones did. their not bad just different. I mainly don't like the fact the new voices pronounce names wrong or different than the other books for instance Hecate is a BIG one for me since it's used ALOT. kinda regretting buying this one on audible sadly but I have all of her books on audible for this series and fae chronicles. I know she was trying to get audio or to is quickly and the original ones weren't available right away but I'm hoping she gets them back! otherwise I may have to refrain from the audio books in the future. or at least make sure the names and things in the book are pronounced the same. It was almost to a dnf point.

Queen of chaos

You really irks me when they change the narrators you get used to one narrator and fall in love with their voice and tone and imagine them again. I love the previous performers of Knox and Aria. It’s so frustrating when you already have the characters there their appearance everything just from the sound of their voice in your head and the narrators and then they go and change it!! It irks me to the core!!!

For me, she never disappoints.

Edit: Instead of getting upset with Amelia Hutchins for Troy Duran’s situation that ended with his price more than she could afford. My personal issue: I don’t understand why he was unable to commit to the end of the series. Not blaming him, I just don’t accept money as the final determining factor for him to not finish narrating a series as successful and part of his success. Strictly asked out of genuine curiosity.

I dislike that people remove stars from ratings just because of a narrators voice. You don’t like the voice; ok well. You can buy the book and come up with whatever tickles your fancy.



Personally, I had a roller coaster of a time with this book. There was some foreshadowing that helps readers to or provides readers a taste or clues as to how the story is progressing? Maybe? There were some heart wrenching moments, brutality, etc. yes, the spice level is low in this book; that’s not what this serious is all about. All the sex is just a major major bonus.

Can’t stand the voice actors

The story is good but the man who’s reading it sounds like an old man, not a sexy dragon king. Definitely killed the vibe. The girl voice actor is okay but kinda boring. The story is good of course. Just wish they’d do different voice actors

But the new narrators not so much. I understand that Troy Durand prices went up but damn sexy voice to on that is just plain is hard to get over.

I Love this series so much.

Very disappointed that is wasn’t the same narrators as the other books. These narrators were just Okay. I held off reading the book because I had loved the narrators so much.

Don’t trust the negative reviews!

I understand being loyal to the original narrators of this series, but I think the other negative reviews are being a bit dramatic. The new narrators (Thomas and Elise) were fabulous. No man is going to sound like Troy Duran, but Thomas did a standup job. Alise is a gem and portrayed Aria wonderfully. Do I wish they pronounced the names as they’ve been recorded in the past books? Yes, but if these two had started this series originally, absolutely NO ONE would have anything negative to say. Now, as for the story, Amelia proves herself to be an absolute genius once again. The continuation of this story will grab you by the throat and keep you there till it leaves you on a cliffhanger. Hoping the next installment doesn’t take too long to release!

My number 1 fav Author!!!

I Have read this series so many many times next was to try audio. 😍 this audiobook WOW, did not think it could get any better.
Dark, twisted and intense ride. These books are the best books I have ever read and can not find anything remotely written the same. Stinks because I have to wait and wait. Amelia will have you so Angry oh so Angry you want to throw your book. Mind you it's a good angry. Amelia gets you so far into this world it's intense. Really intense. If you are a lightweight and have triggers DO NOT READ. Other than that jump on and enjoy the ride. It's WILD!!! You won't only be feeling intense anger you will laugh, cry and enjoy the spice. That can get intense as well. Next to Hutchins name in a encyclopedia should be intense. Lol the side characters you just want more and more. Lore, Greer and Brander just to name a few. And Ember man Love her!!! Of course love the other girls as well. There literally is no other Author like this. I heard some other names I have not tried yet. But in the 300+ books I have read in the past 2 years NO. I even just found a book she wrote awhile ago. She has always been good. I thought it couldn't possibly as good as this series. I was wrong.
Amelia gets me out of my head. I need that. It's ugly in there. The depression etc all the garbage I need to get away from. Amelia gets me through. When I am done with her books I crave more. I don't want to stop. This is the only Author I have reread over and over. She is that intense and gets me out of my funk. People talk about ACOTAR for me it's this Dark twisted world. I liked acotar I'd might read it again. Don't get me wrong. Need this next book King of Chaos more!!! Thank you Amelia for your great writing! And making me feel ALL the emotions
