amazing!
I loved this so much. I wore an excited grin the entire time I listened to this. It was enemies to lovers but also he falls hard/fast. I devoured this.
Audio was top notch. 100% recommend listening to if able!

Great story
Love this story and the characters. Can not wait for book 2…. Left it at w cliffhanger. Now I’m over here waiting and wondering what’s happening to my characters.

Near perfection
This book is great. No cliffhanger but there’ll definitely be more to this story. Toxic, possessive MMC. Strong, capable FMC. Great pacing.

At the edge of my seat
What a fun adventure...well written, not complicated, entriguing love story and captivating plot. Had me at the edge of my seat, throughly enraptured, up until the end! Author created a world that made your heart clench, or tears well up or swoon...the MMC is swoon-worthy! Pleasently surprised with this book! Narrators embodied the characters (albeit a bit cheesy at times) but kept good pace with the events in the story.

This book sucks…
I wish I read goodreads reviews before getting this…this book was so boring & bad. Hardly any world, character or even relationship building. Also definitely not enemies to lovers. Spoiler alert, he apparently likes/loves her the entire time & she hates him maybe for a paragraph or 2 before deciding to like/love him too. I hated that she just gave in with no fight..I understand her hands were tied but she was willing to kill herself so how is that any better? That would screw over their treaty just as much as plotting to escape. Absolutely no showing of defiance.
At times the story tries to be interesting but is overall convoluted…I’m listening at work so maybe I missed something? There’s sparse character development & not much foreshadowing so the “plot twist” seemingly came from nowhere. I actually restarted the chapter thinking I missed something.
Overall I feel like my review perhaps is a little harsh but there’s way too many reviews calling this good on audible…before buying maybe read some goodreads reviews or if you’re determined to form your own opinion read this for free if you happen to have kindle unlimited. I fully regret buying this so maybe do some research before giving this a shot.
