very strong characters and mc was great! story has no long winded parts and it told with great detail but not overly done!!

good allround story

interesting style of a cultivation book good story but some what hard to follow due to name choice being all similar sounds! could just be a culture or language translation problem

It’s a good story, over all. The MC is a little naïve but gets with it . Looking forward to seeing what’s next.

I Enjoyed it

I approached Painting the Mists with some skepticism after reading reviews that claimed the protagonist was overly fortunate. However, while Cha Ming does receive many opportunities, his journey is far from effortless. He endures significant hardships, and his growth—both in strength and character—feels well-earned. The worldbuilding is rich, and the supporting cast adds depth and nuance to the story, making for a truly engaging read. This box set is an excellent introduction to a unique cultivation series, and I look forward to seeing where the journey leads.

15 hours and I swear this guy has been handed everything on his path so far.
