I loved the whole story, twist and keeping me on the edge of my chair. I also like the funny parts I laughed out loud. the narrator did an awesome job

Excellent research was done for this novel. I appreciate how accurate it is.
Well written and a good ending. Good twists and turns. Great job!

Not the signal you think it is.

My favorite part is the commitment to realism. The violent main character with multiple personalities and a host of other mental illnesses is 100% convinced and convicted of her own moral superiority: that every single bias based on left-wing ideology is unquestionably correct. Since all the external antagonists are outright boogiemen caricatures of what leftists believe about so-called "conservatives," the author creates a convincing unreliable narrator who is entirely responsible for all of her own problems, but blames literally anything and everything else. All of her narration of experiences are completely in doubt and should not be assumed true, except that the target audience being catered to is primed to believe it all — accurately simulating the experience of mental illness.

The Actual Story itself is BOMB

I really loved this novel from Alyssa Cole! Some of work can be considered “slow burns” and that could be a good or not so good thing depending on the reader! I think this book was paced well and surprisingly I was able to keep up with the many different characters we were introduced to! (lol)

Second book I’ve listened to from this author and I’ve enjoyed both, this one kept me on the edge of my seat once it got going. Great plot twist and interesting characters.

Enjoyable mystery. Fun. Well written prose. Great narration. Confusing but in a good way. Have a listen.

This was… Odd

The premise had incredible potential, but the execution was odd. It started off steady but slowed in the middle. Too much prose and some of details felt contrived. At times it got long winded and while I understood the ending, it was just a weird choice.

Not what I expected

It was just a strange story not really a mystery more on the horror side but not quite. Like I said strange book.

Outstanding

It took me a minute to follow in the beginning with all the head mates and gain my reading flow; I put it down for several months because of it, but once I picked it back up and found my flow, OH BOY. Such a fantastic read. There’s still a part I’m confused about and seemed a bit rushed and muddled, however the overall storytelling is pretty terrific. I’m glad I picked this back up.
