Great story and excellent audio actress.

This cozy mystery has lots of suspects that keep you guessing. The sarcastic best friend added humor. I enjoyed the development of the family and friends characters. I felt like I knew them by the end of the story. There’s mystery, family, friends and a bit of romance. The different voices of the characters flowed seamlessly making it easy to forget it was one very talented artist portraying them. I appreciate that - and the reason I decline listening to AI audios.

This book will have you in the Christmas and sleuthing spirit very quickly! Such a fun cozy filled with romance, cookies & Christmas magic!

Another Great Listen!

I absolutely adored the first book in this series and this one was no different! The descriptions and details from the beautifully decorated town to the mouthwatering desserts was a wonderful way to draw you right in! I was suspicious who the murderer might be but the writer does a wonderful job pulling you through multiple twists and turns and having you second guessing yourself before they confirm who it is! I still wish there was a recipes chapter for some of the delicious treats mentioned throughout the book but hopefully the future issues might have that! I’m now off to enjoy book 3 in this delightful series!

Wonderful sequel!

I am new to the cozy genre usually my reading and audiobooks tend to be history. biography or literature,
But wanting something to read/listen to that would be for pure escapism and not to demanding I stumbled across
cozies. For the most part i have found books from other cozy authors extremely cliche ridden and cheezy.
Then I discovered the Beacon Bake Shop series and was hooked., Charming setting, compelling characters, a budding romance and usually a decent mystery. Excellent narration to boot. I cant wait for the next one to be released.
