The Way

Misled is a great tool for people to examine both their heart and the church they are attending. Jesus had something to say to the churches in the 7 churches of Revelation, and it is important for us to know and evaluate what he has against us and what the corrective measures are. I really liked the encouragement to the churches to have discipleship programs and for church goers to be in God's Word and be Bereans.

I really enjoyed listening to the story of Jeran…and it’s happy ending. I recommended this book to several close friends. Five stars in each category was the most appropriate score for Misled. Congrats for such an excellent book!

Accurate. Timely. Culturally Relevant.

I wish I had this rich teaching when I began my Christian journey over 20 years ago! In this book, the author addresses some of the prevalent false doctrines that hinder genuine believers from understanding and embracing the true message of the gospel of Jesus Christ—doing so with clarity, compassion, and comprehensive scriptural support.

Using a conversational style, he hits on the topics that most preachers and teachers shy away from in our community, such as God’s grace and the doctrine of eternal security.

Having come of age during the Word of Faith and prosperity movements, I appreciate that God has positioned skilled teachers to set the record straight about what constitutes true righteousness so that believers can stop floating from false doctrine to false doctrine and start or resume their journey to know God more, experience Him more deeply, and increase their spiritual capacity. I highly recommend this book!

Solid teaching

I’ve been struggling with confusion from false teachings from three churches in my lifetime. This book helped me know I was not wrong leaving and gives me a guideline of what to look hit as I search for a healthy, scripturally sound church. I highly recommend for all Christians as sometimes these things creep in and noticed until the church is caught up in it. This would be a great addition to any library.

A book that Everyone Should Read!!

I have to say that being this is Allen Parr first book, it will exceed your expectations. Until I read this book I didn't know how easily it is to misinterprete the word of God then turn around and teach it to other Christians. This book reveals the truth you never knew existed. I highly recommend Misled, By Allen Parr. It is an urgent must read.

If you are looking for someone to teach the bible in its complete truth? How about the topics many leaders don't teach, preach, or talk about? Allen Parr teaches the Bible in a way that's always backed by the word of God. He does not allow the world as harsh as some can be dictate or alter what God called him to do. If you love this book you will love his teaching. If you love his teaching, you will love this book!!! Be Encourage, God has not forgotten you.

Can I say Holy Cow? Holy Cow! So much more than I expected!

First, I’m so glad Alan Parr narrated this book himself. I felt like I was sitting in the living room listening to him teach. Misled really opened my eyes to a lot of false teachings that I’d completely accepted as truth and didn’t study for myself. Well done!
