The way things are explained in this book are straightforward, sound, logic, informed and ultimately convincing. I am a Christian and I am in search of expanding my knowledge of God, I want to grow in my faith and I found a resource of incredible value in this book. thank you, Jim Warner Wallace for your obedience and diligence.

A must listen!

A wonderful logical approach to Christianity. Sometimes we all need help with the logical claims of Christianity and this book is the perfect resource.

Very interesting

This book comes at the life and death of Jesus and Christianity from the perspective of a cold case investigation. Super interesting. If you like crime shows and all that you'll enjoy this approach. I do have to say, though, that I'd really love for this guy to write a book as though he's presenting the evidence to a jury without any churchy-talk or Christianese. Some of that talk I think would turn off some of the people who I'd love to share this book with.

This is a game changer!

Wallace's objective look at the claims of Christianity from an atheist's perspective is stunning. Using techniques developed throughout a long career in law enforcement, carefully sifting through claims, counter-claims, and circumstantial evidence, he creates a very believable, even compelling case for belief in the Bible narrative and it's central character, Jesus of Nazareth.
It seems very improbable that a reasonable person would not challenge their own long-held beliefs against Jesus as the Christ. Definitely something to work through with a group.

The Bible is verified through modern reasoning

I found the author’s discussion of sorting out credibility of documents or testimony compelling. While cultural context changes human nature never does and I found the modern cold case examples helpful in illustrating the points made. The chain of custody argument was valuable in demonstrating the authenticity of the Bible compared to other ancient texts.

Informative and digestible.

I've been a big fan of Jim Wallace for some time. I especially appreciate that he narrated this book himself, as it really communicates his passion for the material and for the Lord and Savior he serves with it. I jumped on the opportunity to purchase the updated Cold Case, but I have been quite busy lately. I went ahead and listened to the full audio book to whet my appetite, and was not disappointed. Regardless of where you are in your walk with Christ, or if perhaps you're an atheist or agnostic but searching for more information, you'll find this resource invaluable. I highly recommend.
