love this book lives of King David

I truly enjoyed this book. it was a good pace and follow the Bible not sure about the characters but it has a lot of Truth as to what happened in the Bible i I enjoy historical books of the times of Jesus.

Beautifully Written

Eileen Smith has become one of my favorite authors. The way she intertwines the Word and this story is really awesome! I’ve listened to this story several times and it’s new to me each time.

Wonderful listen

This book makes the Biblical characters come to life. The narrator’s voice is so wonderful to listen to.

Biblical story with a different perspective

This is one of my favorite authors. She has such a beautiful way of bringing people in the Bible to life. She creates stories with just every day events and depicts activities of life that give amazing depth to her characters. She remains true to scriptures and never takes such broad creative license that the characters and story becomes bizarre. There are sprinkles of verses in her novels that you can look up. And believe me these novels will spark an interest in reading the Bible even if just to check something out. I’ve never really thought much about Michal, daughter of King Saul, David’s first wife. This novel puts different intriguing perspectives of looking at her and how she might have been. All in all a very enjoyable book.

I have learned so much about the power of forgiveness. The same being true for unforgiveness , as being a source of power to let in evil into our hearts, minds and souls . This book was very well written and performed lending an open door to discovering God's ways.

Great story line.

Loved it. I will be listening to ot again. The story fallowed biblical amd Historic documents well. The Narrator was pleasent to listen to

Love the historical references

I really enjoyed this historical fiction story and the biblical references, It makes you want to go back to the source, the Bible, and follow along the timeline. David is such a complex man of God. I enjoyed learning and being inspired to research Michal on my own. I enjoy this author's style of writing. I will definitely read the others!

This is the first narration I have heard by Ms. Beaulieu. I found myself distracted by the halting cadence Ms. Beaulieu fell in to while performing. I even tried to read along with the narration, but it didn't help. Overall, this didn't make me stop listening, but it lessened my overall enjoyment.
