Mandy's voice is unfair
Lara did a great job with the story. A lot packed into five+ hours. But let's talk about the absolute revelation: Mandy McCullough. Wow, what a gorgeous voice. I'd pay a credit to hear her read the phone book.

Fun story, but really annoying if you're a prepper
Good: An enjoyable light story with a good enough plot and characters.
Bad: This is an apocalyptic story and the main character is a prepper who lives in a remote house in the mountains. He has three back up power generators, water purification systems and food for two years. But, he doesn't have a an AM radio or even a good first aid kit. This is only one example of many that are throughout the book.

A great Apocalyptic Survival story!
Lights Out by Lara X. Lust is a great apocalyptic survival story with lots of action, great characters, some fun times, and an interesting world. I look forward to Lara's next book! Audio Version: Christopher Harbour and Mandy McCullough work well together on this title and do a great job with their respective characters and the overall narration.

Our MC makes some stupid decisions here and there, but overall, the story is good with some steamy action.
