Hopefully the start of a new trend!

I am a fan of light novels but I am a slow reader so hopefully we will get more of these. Narration was good, a few voices were hard to understand but otherwise very clear. The storyline isn't new but has room to grow even more interesting as the series progresses. Love the snarky inner commentary of the main character.

Short but good

I really hope the author makes another book for this is a pretty good book that actually click keep in my library.

book is good. just short. but the French accent

ths accent sounds like hes slurring his words while trying too hard. idk what he could have done to do better but whenever it comes up i have no idea what the hell was going on

Its a good story

I get it, it is only 3.5 hours long, but the story is good. Also it is a good start to more stories.
I'd say that it is worth the credit, even though it is so short.

The narrator sounds a little nasally, but I didn't notice it too much; certainly not enough to drop the star rating.

Love the story

Most the books that I’ve listened on Audible are either really good or crap. This book is somewhere in between but leaning more to the good side. The only real issue I have with the book is the narrator. Most of the characters he does really good but to him particular really pisses me off. With one he uses a French accent that you cannot hear or understand and the other has the worst sounding voice that you can imagine. On the plus side I love how he betrays the king and the main character. The book as a whole I loved and I can’t wait to listen to the next one.

Short but still very good, it’s worth the credit. So give this a chance! Waiting for more! And check out the anime trope system!

It’s okay

I kind of like it, but the whole story is so cringe from the fact that he supposedly doesn’t know that he is just as powerful as everyone else, or that he can cast his summons magic faster than anybody. the fact that he can't perceive other praise of him is annoying also.

Not long enough

I wish this book was longer. The length is the book is not my only complaint though.
The narration is sort of flat and the voice of the head mage is hard to understand.

Great but longer story.

I loved the book but it was just to short. Please make the next one at lease 2 times longer at a minimum please.

Just a great story can't wait for more

as someone who reads Japanese light novels a lot, this is great I just can't wait for a second book to come out
