Acerca de esta escucha
You probably know that as you age, your hormone levels decline. But what you probably don't know is that hormone levels can be restored using natural, bioidentical hormones that eliminate associated fatigue, weight gain, moodiness, memory loss, and a weakened immune system. Too often, women are prescribed drugs that treat these symptoms and not the core problem: hormonal imbalance.
Now, in his acclaimed eight-point program that has improved the lives of countless patients at his Houston wellness clinic, Dr. Steven F. Hotze reveals what women of all ages can do to get relief and promote lifelong hormonal health through a combination of lifestyle changes, good nutrition, exercise, and natural hormone replacement. In clear, nontechnical language, he addresses:
- The important differences between chemical hormones and bioidentical hormones
- Common, related health problems, including allergies, yeast overgrowth, and adrenal fatigue
- Balanced nutrition
- Vitamin and mineral supplements
- and more.

These attacks hit a little known but very important set of glands, the adrenals, particularly hard. One of the many jobs of the adrenals is to maintain a normal cortisol rhythm.

Millions of people are suffering from chronic illnesses that, unbeknownst to them, are the result of exposure to environmental toxins and infectious agents such as mold and Borrelia, which causes Lyme disease. Millions. Because the symptoms of these illnesses are so varied and unusual, many of these individuals have sought medical care only to be dismissed, as if what they are experiencing is “in their head”. Many (if not most) have tried to tough it out and continue to function without hope of improvement. Unfortunately, their illnesses are very real.

Historia
One out of three women alive today, and one out of two men, will face a cancer diagnosis, according to the World Health Organization. Ty Bollinger takes this personally: in the course of a decade, he says, "I lost my entire family to cancer. I don't believe I had to lose them." The Truth about Cancer has been written for one simple reason: to share the knowledge we need to protect ourselves, treat ourselves, and in some cases save our lives or the lives of those we love.

Very helpful
Finally a Doctor explains the mystery of hormone imbalance. I’ve been prescribed bio identical hormones and had a lot of questions that were all answered in this book. Truly I hope more women, and men for that matter give this book a listen. We suffer needlessly, if only more doctors would take the time to listen to their patients, the world would be a better place!

Braggadocious Author
This make author spends way more time patting himself on the back and bragging about his own life than actually doling out any hardcore hormone education. This book is anecdotal at best. I didn't buy it to learn about his family. Frustrating and very disappointing.
