Sometimes the good guys win.

We needed this one after the sadness from the last. I’ve been reading this series for so long I feel like I’m part of the community. If you like this genre then this is one of the best in it. If for some reason you’re just reading this review and have not read the two (maybe 3) that combined into this one, I envy you. Go back and start from the two beginnings and the few side stories. You won’t be able to put it down.

What's Next?

I enjoyed the tenth book in the "Safe Haven" series. This story related the multiple heartbreaking difficulties that the residents of Safe Haven have to face. The tale was filled with many twists and turns. I enjoyed the character arcs. I appreciated the humor found in the tale. Once the audiobook started, I had to listen until the end as the story was so engrossing. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Kim Bretton's narration was engaging, and her performance drew me into the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

I wonder if they'll have Pop Tarts...

I absolutely love this series! Most of the longer series that I have read start to feel stale and I often lose interest before the big finale. Not this one! The combination of the Safe Haven and End of Everything series just continues to get better and better!

In book 10, Hope Street, the remaining residents of Safe Haven find themselves trying to find a new place to call home. And, they are doing this without some of their prominent citizens! I really liked the way that the author sets a story in a zombie apocalypse, then throws in tons of emotion and issues that face everyone at one time or another. Even though we aren't living through the zompoc, we can all relate to reaching a breaking point and feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities!

The new characters that were introduced added a lot of great humor (especially Grizz). The dialogue between these people feels so authentic and I found myself laughing a lot, even in the midst of zombie encounters and life or death situations. At this point, I truly feel like I know these characters; they are so much more than just people in a book.

The narrator, Kim Bretton, does her usual amazing job and her voices are absolutely perfect! After listening to so many of these books, I can tell who is talking just by her voices. Perfection!

Now, if Mr. Artinian could just figure out how to supply me with Pop Tarts to eat as I listen to these books.....

eeee... so this author never lets me down, all the twists and turns. And Kim once again did a wonderful job. I can hardly wait for the next book!!

This is book 10, and I am still on the edge of my seat wanting more. I stumbled onto this and its sister series and have listened to each story more than once. The strong character development, fast-paced action, and laugh out loud humor are what I enjoy most. And, the voice acting is simply amazing.

Wonderful series

I'm looking forward to more books after this one. This is a series i'm not getting bored of anytime soon.

Exceptional

Christain does it again. Writing a strong and thrill packed continationn of the Safe Haven series. I enjoyed listening to this story and can't wait to listen to the next one. He always finds a way to bring intense action and suspense mixed with humor to the stories. Great work.

Is there hope on the horizon??

Times are rough for our beloved Safe Haven residents. Will they be able to continue or its this it? Is it all over? Is there hope in this hell that life has become? Personal struggles and angry outbursts amongst the group just add to the feeling of despair for all. As usual, the team of Christopher and Kim put out an amazing job in the tenth book of this Safe Haven series.

Best series ever!

Amazing as always! Can’t wait to see where the former residents of Safe Haven end up.
After a failed mission of last hope that are going to find some sort of hope just off of hope street.
Mike may be finding a new ‘close’ friend and I’m wondering if Wren will will be jealous.
These girls are all amazing as hell! I want to be them!
I also want to be Kim Brettons friend as well! Her narration is perfection! Kim if you are ever in Texas we can visit some wineries or distilleries!

Hope Street

Just when you think all is lost...Hope Street. This book starts off with the terrible loss of Safe Haven and all that it implies. The majority of my personal favorites strive to improve the situation for their broken community. These characters never truly give up. Another well written story by Christopher Artinian and skillfully narrated by Kim Bretton.
