I Wish it Were Longer - Loving!!

I’m actually a bit sad about the ending, though the hea is great. These characters become very real to you as you listen. You feel them, and either love or hate them. Great series with fantastic narration. I highly recommend.

Loved seeing how it all works out!

Honed in Havoc is the conclusion to the Corrupt Credence series. With this final installment, we have everything from the previous books wrapped up. I loved the relationship between Nox, Lucian and Nova and that we get to see them finally altogether and everything resolved in the end, but I would have loved to see more interactions occur between Nox, Lucian and Nova with the world outside of them. I love books set in academy, high school or college settings because I love watching them interaction with others and we had a lot of that with the first two books, but almost none of it in this final one. That being said Lucian and Nox are great with Nova - all the scenes we get with them being possessive, protective and caretaking over her were fabulous.

The audio narration was fantastic, as it was with the previous installments. I definitely wouldn't mind listening to more stories with these narrators - they did an excellent job making Nox, Lucian and Nova come to life. I especially love duet narration, it really adds to the experience!

The character narration is great!

I loved reading this story so listening to it I knew what was coming. But having these narrators gave it a whole different feel. Lucian’s gravely voice was perfect!

With the Umbra's having kidnapped Nova, Lucian and Nox are on a mission to get her back and never let her out of their sights again. When 7 students die tragically Nova is allowed to leave the house with her captures, I mean grandparents to attend the memorial. Her heart breaks when Lucian and Nox barely look at her, but little does she know that's all a part of their plan. 1 gps tracker placed and unknown Lucian is ready to get his lam back at all costs and who knows how much blood will be shed. OMFG this book WOW, swoon, makes you all hot and bothered, and have all the feels the Morningstar twins are so perfectly written Nova is definitely one lucky lady.

Great…. But..

The story was great and the people who read it did a fantastic job. The story could almost have been condensed to 2 books instead of 3. That’s the only criticism I could say. Happy that I listened to the series.

This narration is literal fire.

As sad as I am that this series has come to an end, I can't be upset at the perfect conclusion. It has been such an amazing journey and I've loved every moment! The narrators breathed so much more life into characters that were already super vivid. HUGE thanks to everyone who had a hand, a voice, and a part in every step of bringing this to the listeners!

I enjoyed the the story and it has a nice conclusion to the series. Things concluded as expected and spice is spicy. I love the dual narration and both narrator didn't an exceptional job changing the voices and manner of speech for the difference characters. Brooke is always excellent at this but the male lead also did an exceptional job even between the twins. Over all another outstanding book by Mrs. Walker!!! If had to complain my only complain is that I wish it was longs so I could enjoy these characters longer. ❤️🌶❤️🌶❤️

Outstanding!

Amazing conclusion to a wickedly good series. I absolutely LOVED the enemies to lovers arc, the relationship and plot development, and the perfectly executed spice. The narrators are fantastic and brought this already incredible book to new heights. They fully embodied the characters, beautifully executed every line, and emoted powerfully with each line. This is a must have (both the book and the audio) series, don’t sleep on it!

Delicious duet narration

Book 3 - Finally on audio! I loved the book and couldn’t wait to listen.
First part of this review is about the narrators. Second part will be about the story.
This is a duet narration. Brooke narrators all female speaking parts, regardless of the chapter’s POV. Corvin narrates all men speaking parts even on Nova’s chapters. Both narrators are delicious sounding, great acting. Honestly, listening to this after reading it was chef’s kiss! I think Corvin is in my top male narrators now, just from these audiobooks.

In terms of story - Albany has us picking right up, and I can’t help but feel so bad for Nova. She’s been through so much in her life, I just want to see her be happy (spoilers, by the end, she totally is, it’s worth it). I love that we really see how morally grey Lucian is in this book - he is willing to do or say anything to be with our girl Nova. Nox is still the level headed rock keeping everyone together. The character growth has been great, Nova is definitely stronger because of everything she’s been through, and she’s willing to fight for what she wants and what she thinks is right. Along with the conclusion to the story arc (no spoilers, but I like the wrap up), we get some good scenes of them together, and some memorable quotes…growled by Corvin, so so worth it.

I really enjoyed this book and think you will too, definitely give it a try - but start from book 1!
