Really good story!

If you’re into action packed novels that don’t waste any time, then this book is for you! It has a lot of good aspects in it such as having to save friends and family. The character development is really good as well!

They weren’t as sold—called it “middling.” Too much detail in the physical descriptions, like every move and tree branch, bogged it down for them. They shrugged and said it’s “what adults think kids like,” which stings a bit. Fair point: it leans hard into world-building and character development that I enjoy but didn’t it stick the landing for younger ears.

Still, if you’re up for a fun adventure with a hero worth rooting for, it’s a strong pick. Kids might tune out, but for me, it’s a win.

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. Willow was a great adventure with many exciting parts and twists and turns. Narrator was ok but would have liked a little more passion. Overall, very entertaining and fun listen!
