Wonderful again’

Another great installment of this series. I hope there will be more! Publishers seem to only push fantasy with blood and explosions which can be fun but clever and cozy books like this are such a perfect palette cleanser. This one is lovely and very heartfelt. Great plot and page turningly interesting :-) Swoony too! Loved it. Hope the author is hard at work in another right now!

Another fun adventure

Emily got on my nerves a bit more in this one, but it continues to be an enjoyable series.

Can anybody make me their fairy queen?

This book is a cup of the most comforting tea as well as the fluffiest robe. Not to mention an encyclopedia for anyone venturing to a fairy realm, such as Elfhame

Fae, Adventurer, Loyal Shadow the Dog, Oh My!

This is a fascinating continuation of Emily's adventures as she learns more about the Fae, finds herself becoming more involved in Wendell's Kingdom and has her beloved dog Shadow at her side.
I enjoyed that this was told mostly from Emily's point of view with some parts of Wendell's as well.
I love the relationship and dynamics between Emily and Wendell who come from such different worlds but also really work well together.
It was wonderful to see some of the characters from previous books in this one and I was so excited that Emily had a huge Fae Fox as a way to travel through Faery.
Wendell's sister is spoiled, dramatic, hilarious and is all that you'd expect from a younger sibling.
Full of twists, the power of love, friendship, liberal amounts of Fae and Fae Lore, I highly recommend this book and the series in general.

I really hope there will be another book in this series!

Narration makes me feel like I'm really listening to her journal!

I love Emilys story, always thrilled when I see there is a new book. great Narrators with seamless transition!

Charming, unique characters

I absolutely love this series! Not only does it feature a slight romance, but the characters are also unique, and the story flows very well.

Brilliant Once Again!

Three books into this series, and I am just as impressed with the story as I was with the first. The narration is perfect, the pacing is wonderful and the length is just right!

Overwhelmingly delightful

Creative, engaging, funny, and with characters galore. So much adventure and the narration could not have been better. She really brought it to life. Love the ending too! Definitely be checking out more by this author.

Shadow is a GOOD BOY! 🐶🐾

A great ending to the trilogy! Emily being the scholar she is and Wendell just being Wendell made this book perfectly charming.

Delightful addition to Emily Wilde's adventures

The Compendium of Lost Tales is a wonderful addition to the ongoing adventure of Emily Wilde. The story wraps up nicely, but I hope Ms Fawcett decides to keep writing these books. Absolutely love it
