whiney moment
throughout this series Donna has been a badass and doesn't whine or be overdramatic. when she thought Pierce had died and when she thought she killed him in the dream and was besotted she was irritating me. he can't die but this is the only time in any of the series that she didn't listen or use the logic she normally uses. maybe I'm just hormonal but it was exasperating.

During the months between book 4 and book 5 I listened to the entire series many times, each time picking up more story threads that I wanted to be explored. Embrace the Suck was very satisfying. It pulled the story together but still left me wanting more.
Had to love the way Fitzhugh was taken care of. Gonna miss Donna and her squad!

You need this series in your life
The final addition to this series was the perfect ending. The way Kristen Painter pulls you in with the characters and the story had me crying at the end. Simply amazing. Kristen Painter is pure magic!
The series was fabulous. I highly recommend!

Demons
If demons scare you then you might want to skip a few chapters of this book. Otherwise the story is great. I wanted more romance for the main character, but the promise of it is all we get. This isn’t a romance novel, so keep that in mind. Overall, it’s a great addition to the Kristen Painter collection.
