I need to see him catch up

if these books end before he's crimson's level I'm going to be extremely disappointed, I like the grueling path to power but for all his "potential" the progression is to slow unless these books are gonna be numerous

i have to say...i am impressed.

the elven culture is awesome and frustrating, i have a major bone to pick with Emperor dipshit. Tish and Neldra are awesome. also who doesn't love a good political Arc.

Amazing story and great new VA!!

I re listened to all the audiobooks and it’s so so so much better. Both female VA are amazing I enjoyed both of their narrations for this series. Chris’s voice is just so much better for this series and his performances are so good. The other male VA was just kind of creepy and annoying. It was like listening to a new story. This story is great and I look forward to all future releases from Bruce DD, Ards Oath and Returners Defiance. Thank you!

The story is very good and the author is doing a great job at keeping the pace to make it not seem strained or too much.

I an excited to get to the next book.

engaging story

the characters are great. I love the grandfather, he always gives me a good laugh. Crimson is just a badass.

plot armor

Just going to smack the plot with a sledge real quick. kitty tattoo for Crimson. Otherwise it's a decent read and the voice actors do a good job.

Hot Irish/Scottish Elves what else do you need to know?

I liked that this book brought us to a new world and gave us a break from the main group. I will say The voice actors were struggling a bit with accents, just because of how many different characters are packed into this book. But it wasn't horrible by any means. I really hope Bruce continues to give us books like this, that focuse in, on one or two ladies from the Harem so we can really get to now them and also prolong the series in the proprocess.

good, not great

book 4 was a bit slow. pacing really slowed down. missed a great opportunity to understand Cromson more, instead wr focused on Ken and his elves in the gym.....a lot of gym chapters.

Mc and his harem are stupid, surviving by plot armor

And his morals swings faster than the tail of a happy dog...
I actually get pissed of at how he's written as a supposedly superiorly trained Assassin, while being as incompetent as your average low effort villain.
