My thoughts on the subject.

The story is great and the characters are wonderful. But when the women speak for the men I really hate it. It really turns me off and when the men does that for the woman its not as bad but still I could do without it.can you not have dual readings .Have the man and woman read there own parts it would be so much better. I read a book like that and fell in love with the style. But like I said the story is wonder I have all the books in the series. I even have lacking because I love max. oh and sorry I ama horrible speller

Phenomenal story

I love this series! The characters are absolutely amazing. The storyline, with its mystery, humor, drama, and steamy romance, is captivating. And the narration was perfect! I was really glad this installment was extra long - more story to enjoy! Kenya Wright is a fantastic writer and I can’t wait for the next book! :)

Dirty Wars

Really enjoyed this story it, made me laugh and cry and feel sad for Emily but I love how Cass embraced Emily dark side and still had love for her. I like how French and Russian worked together toward the end of the story to put an end to Fala and I love how the future was predicted through baba, palo ghost and the voodoo lady. The story was worth waiting for.

Good story

Love the series. Hate the ending. I wanted to know more about the rest of characters ie blue, king david, butcher, butler, etc. Hopefully this is not the last installment in this series. This audiobook was 24 hours long & it should have had a better ending to the series ie did Emily get help? Who was young girl in the Lion dream at the time of his death? Still so many questions that wasn’t answered.

Got it right!

This is the first time I have listen to an audible… that got it right!!!! I love Lacey Laurel, and the Ace, they are so freaking good together! I absolutely love this series!!!! Good job! Those virtual voice audibles are the worst… really messes up a good story, but Kenya you Got IT RIGHT!

She Did It Again!!

I love that Blue was featured more and I loved that she had a love square....not triangle BUT SQUARE that was out of this world. I wished I could say more... but when is the MOVIE coming out! lol

Action Packed…But Too Long

Yet another home run by Kenya Wright! This story was a little too long for my liking but I’d rather get a long, well plotted-out story with a satisfying conclusion, than a rushed story left with a lot of holes.

That being said, I think I am about done with Kaz and Emily’s story. I truly did have to suspend disbelief at the level of absurdity with Emily’s psychotic alter ego and the enablers around her. Kaz has also been losing steam with me the last few books, as he now seems like a different person from the man who dominated the firsts few books, and not in a good way.

The only things that saved this story for me was Blue’s POV, which a lot of reviewers didn’t like, but which I loved as a distraction from Kaz and Em’s nonsense. I like King David but am firmly Team Giorgio! He is such a fascinating character and there were so many laugh out loud moments for me with his dialogue. I also love Maxwell and hope to hear more about these characters in future books.
