Awesome Sienna

This book was worth the wait. I’ve read a lot a Shannon Mayer books and they always draw you into the sorrow and happiness going on in the characters lives. Dominic and Sienna have come a long way and discovered a lot about each other. Grief is a major flavor in this book 3 but the HEAs are brighter because of all the couples went through to find their slice of happiness. No cliff hanger just unfinished business make me happy to wait for the finale in February 2024! With a different lead couple. Looks like it will be Dominic’s sister the Queen who gets the relay.

Yes I am a huge Shannon Mayer fan but Holy hell this was a great book! it was suspenseful, spicy, heartwarming, and pulled at my heart strings. Sienna goes through many many stages throughout the entire book still reeling from Jordan's death in the second book to the final battle during this book. Sienna finally discovers what she is capable of and how to have a new purpose.
The voice actors were great and made the story come to life. I would recommend this series to anyone who like supernatural stories with a little spice. I would give this a 10 star rating if I could.

Sienna is best

The story continues right where we left off. Heartbreaking. And if I thought the previous one was fast paced, I had to hold on to my pants to follow this wild ride. Some stubbornness has to be overcome and then things get rolling on every level. The battle is epic and the end leaves you wanting to know what happens next in this world, that is now in uproar. Great performances from both narrators and splendid writing from Shannon.

So good i couldn’t stop listening

Great story, the chemistry between each character is beautiful and natural. Definitely recommend this book.

Fun story!

I enjoyed the progression of the story in the series. I continue to be intrigued by the main character’s origin and powers! It keeps me coming back for more. Looking forward to the next one.

End of the first trilogy

This is the third and final book of this trilogy but I think that we are just beginning to delve into this new world that Ms. Mayer has created.

In the prior two books, we got to meet the main characters involved - Sienna, Dominic, Will, Bethany, Lycan, Evangeline, Diana, Edmund...to name the major ones. Everything is leading to the main battle that is going to have to take place if they are going to put Will on the throne....well, if Will is going to "take" the throne from Edmund.

Sienna's powers are still new to her and she is trying to figure out exactly what she can do. And most importantly of all......Dominic has finally figured out that he is in love with Sienna (yes, it sometimes takes men a little bit longer for the light bulb to go off). With all that occurred prior to this book, it starts off with a bang. Without going into spoilers, let's just say that there is lots of action, lots of drama, and even a little heartbreak.

I really did enjoy this series. I liked the people that we gt to meet and I really liked seeing the development of the characters from when we started, to where they ended up. Lots of growth.

This story was exciting and then at the end, I realized that even though this chapter is coming to a close, that there are still LOTS and lots of things to come. Keys to find, goals to fulfill, and a Veil to restore.

Exciting

I loved listening to Sienna's story. I feel like the character has grown since the beginning of the first book. There was a lot of action, emotion, and steam. I was satisfied with the end of the trilogy, but there's a hook at the end that has me looking forward to more in the series. I enjoyed listening to Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne.

An unforgettable listen

The two narrators, Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne brought a unique and dynamic dimension to the characters and the overall narrative. Each narrator skillfully portrayed each character and provided distinctive voices and tones that truly brought them to life. Very outstanding listen that I immensely enjoyed.

Perfect conclusion to their tale!

​This was an exciting way of ending Sienna and Dominic’s story. (though I want more) And it created an emotional pathway to the next story, which I believe is Diana’s.

The book picks up where Book 2 ended with Jordan’s death and Scarlett’s betrayal. Sienna turns her anger towards Dominic. I liked the addition of this hurdle in the relationship since it brought out such sweet affection from Sienna and Dominic.

I enjoyed watching the side characters get their spotlight moment throughout the book. There was so much intrigue and excitement till the end that kept me on my toes. The happy moments and the gut wrenching moments made the book an emotional roller coaster.

I do wish we got more background for Sienna since it was never vastly discussed. There are questions still unanswered which I’m looking forward to learning from the sequels. I’m very excited to read Diana’s story since there is so much to discover in this vibrant world.
