Not a real standalone.

The narrators were really good. The story was good as well. The problem that I had with this book was that there are several side plots that don’t get resolved and a lot of them are very important. This book is not a stand alone if more than romance matters to you.

A bit long but worth it

I enjoyed listening to this story. It is a bit longer than needed but 1st stories in an ongoing series usually are to get the characters right.

The Alpha never gave up on her being her mate.

How it ended without knowing what was going on with her magic. There’s just too many open questions.

Beautiful

Full story but many open story lines for additional sequels. An amazing story, friendships, & love. Mystery. suspense, & HEA. loved it!

Great Narration and Book!

The narration for this book is well done and easy to listen too. The female narrator is smooth and switches between characters easily. The male narrator has the perfect gravel and rumble and his "female" voices were amusing. I've listened to other books and struggled with the narration, but that was not the case with this one.

The story focuses on Brielle who struggles with her wolf and believes she has an extremely weak one. Kane is an alpha and not happy about the forced mating gathering. What ensues is a combination of magic, mystery and challenges.

I read the book several months ago and loved it and enjoyed listening to it just as much. I'm off to read the second book as we wait for the third book to be released. Check this out, I think you'll love it!
