so many plot twists!!!

this book 2 did NOT disappoint, it was so fun listening and hearing all the twists and turns. I will not say too much as to not give it away, but that ending was total surprise! great listen and couldn't stop!

Amazing

Loved the audiobook. It was just as amazing as the book and can’t wait to listen to it all over again.

not bad

book was not bad. female narration is a bit off and doesn't flow as good as it could have been. the story could have been an 1hr shorter. the plot was good. there was an unexpected plot twist. Definitely did not see it coming. all in all it was good but not excellent. the spice was great. it had a hea ending.

My favorite series!

The narrator can sound like BBT in SLINGBLADE when he gets serious lol but it’s my favorite series so i was able to get past it. This book is just as good as the first book! Mobs, spice, suspense and love. Who doesn’t love it?

the twist and turn!

I love the books by Lillian Harris! This one though....had a twist and turn I did NOT see coming!!! also the spice is oh so good!! SUCH a good book, love this whole series! I can't wait for the other books in this series to come out on audible!

Twists

The narration was done well. I will say that the male narrator was a little to monotoned and that got a little boring, the tone just seemed to only change slightly in different circumstances and it was like he was uncomfortable with the spicy scenes, JMO.
The story itself was amazing, the twists at the ending were unexpected.

Poor female narrator

The female narrator makes the ending of all her sentences sound like interjections. No range. I couldn’t listen to it in one go because she kept making me feel so irritated. She sounded shocked with every phrase. When she was supposed to be scolding him she sounded shocked, when she was emotional she sounded shocked, Story is great though!

Ugh 😑

The first book in the series was really good and as I continued to read the other 2 it just got worse. Narrations were good BUT the story was terrible in my opinion. Wishing there was more of the little boy and what was best for him and then becoming a family

Plot twists w no hint/Didn't make sense

At the end things happened that just seemed to come out of the blue and were not believable at all. Almost ridiculous to spring it at the end and think the readers will believe it. But I LOVED when Devlin made very brief appearances with his sexy Irish accent. The first book, "Ruthless Savage" was so much better. Can't believe I'm saying this, but there were too many extended sex scenes and not enough action. I kept waiting for a problem to be thrown in at the middle of the story on, but things were resolved too easily. I fast forwarded some of the sex scenes. The end was just absolutely unbelievable and ridiculous.
