Coffee

I enjoyed this book, but by the end I was very tired of her coffee addiction

Great book, great narration!

I loved this book and was surprised that the author not only wrote a great book, but did a great job narrating it! I hope she narrates the rest of the books in this series!

Really enjoyed this story

I usually shy away from author performed books, but with this one I stand corrected. It took me a chapter to get snagged. I listened to it in one shot. looking forward to the next installments!

Not what I expected

It was a pretty interesting story, and she did pretty well narrating it. But the lead character came across as a middle aged, backwoods, not intelligent, perpetually grouchy woman. She was very unlikable. Not my idea of a protagonist. Way to much reference to prayer. And for heaven's sake, someone teach her how to pronounce debacle. Also generally poor grammar. Not my taste at all!

My husband and I have gone almost completely to audio books. We consume a lot of them. I'm a bit picky about narrators. Cat, you did a great job with this book. When are you going to do the other 6? We are looking forward to it.

I had really enjoyed reading the book. listening to the author read it was really great as her inflection, tone, timing reinforces and adds to the story line.

NOT YA!

I was so happy to read a psychic thriller with an adult lead. Taylor is smart, funny, and a badass! Narration was great. I can't wait to dive into the rest of the series!

I am still trying

This is my first Cat Gilbert. I am having a really hard time getting into the book and have only gotten this far because I was on a road trip with nothing else to listen to. the story line is good and I would like to know how it ends, but it is very very slow and the lead character sounds and acts like a very confused child/adult. the real problem for me is the naration. Miss Gilbert, you should pay for a professional as everyone sounds the same. IT could (in my opinion) use better editing as well. I have struggled through three hours and would return the book except that I think, if you buy something, it is wrong to return it as I know you guys get paid by sales and would hate to have them take back something from you. good luck as I assume you have a good following, but I think I'll pass on anymore of your work for now.

Nothing I couldn’t even finish the first few chapters

I couldn’t get past the first few chapters. The narration is terrible. I’m an avid reader and I can usually get past a few chapters and then a book will start getting better but the narration this is so bad I couldn’t even focus on the storyline.

Did not care for voice of performance. Details were not congruent to main character’s responses…..got muddled.
