Loved it!

Loved it! Couldn't stop listening once I started. wish the rest of the series was available.

Perfect book to pass the time

This would be perfect for a plane ride or a lazy day by the pool. With enough plot twists to keep you guessing, but not enough to make your head spin. the characters had depth and evolved throughout the book. With so many characters, both male and female, Eileen took an impossible task and made it look easy.

If you are looking for a book you can't put down and a story that stays with you long after the closing credits, then this is not the book for you. However; if you simply need one to keep you engaged for a few hours or so, then what are you waiting for?

Needs editing for malapropisms

Persian rug became Persian rag; corroborate became collaborate, Lilly became Little. There were double digit instances of similarly poor editing throughout that were really distracting. I’m not sure when the errors were introduced, but I hope they’re caught in any subsequent audio books by this author and editor.

engrossing book

Great story that keeps you interested from the jump. You won't regret listening to it.

Narrators did great job, a variety of characters voices. She made the book even more enjoyable. Ending was predictable but still a great listen.

Too smoozy

Ok. But even the sex so many complained about was boring.
Oh my the southern ladies had vapor couch’s uh duh. I’m from the South & our women are faint of heart, anything but! They’re strong and most old time families in the South least Florida South were matriarchs. Didn’t wanna get mama or mee-maws mad bro. They get the switch to your butts & watch y’a dance & dance & g’lord dance.

Great story

loved the story! only complaint is how it jumped between characters, made it hard to follow at times

Good overall but drug on a bit

Generally the story was well written and the narrator was good. However I felt that some of the sex scenes and detail drug the story out too much.

Enjoyed the story

The story was so very southern. It represented the ways of the south. Of course I’m not from the south, But it gave me that impression.
