I’ve bought worse

A very predictable story. The narration was average or below until I raised the speed to 1.2x. That is how I got through it.

Narrator was terrible! Absolutely awful!!

The story was good, but it was hard to get through it! I feel bad for the author!

Good story. Not so good narrator.

I liked the story. It was well written but predictable. I did not like the narrator. She read with no emotion in a very monotonous way.

Good premise but not crazy about narration.

I liked the story but at times felt thar story was to explanatory and I felt the narration voices didn't fit.

I really wanted to like this book. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this title. The story is great, but I don’t know if I can finish it.

HORRIBLE NARRATOR!

Don't waste you money and time! Story was written by someone with no KNOWLEDGE or RESEARCH skills! None of the FBI agents in this story would remotely happen! allowing a random civilian to insert themselves into an investigation is basic HELL NO Quantico 101 course.

Interesting

This story kept my ADHD BRAIN ENGAGED! I feel like this is a good stand alone book when you are trying to meet a reading goal. Not the worse book but not the best either.

Horrible narrator

Narrator had the same inflection in every sentence. Could not listen beyond the second chapter. I will read on Kindle instead

MGUN'S Review

This book cam with a lot of hype and unfortunately the peripheral characters out-shown the main female lead. Jade the FBI female lead was predictable and somewhat weak. The naive portrayal in the narration was also a contributor to the low rating. The supporting characters Renz her Agent Partner, Conway and the other Bayou Billy Bob foll all fit there role to keep pace of the storyline moving in the right direction. Hopefully whatever is next is stronger otherwise I'll be dropping this authors series.

Clueless heroine

Entertaining, fast moving story. Diabolical villain. Plays fast & loose with the professionalism I would expect from the FBI. Most characters portrayed as good people, nice to see that.
