If I could I would give this 10 stars!

Wow! Wow! Wow! The second book of the series is even better than the first. Grabs you from the start and doesn't slow down until the end. Khristine Hvam is my favorite narrator and her voices along with Shannon Mayer's writing make this book awesome!
I can hardly wait for the third book in the series!

Love the narrator, fabulous Author. Can hardly wait to read the third book. I know it will be as great as the first two.

Just enough suspense and hope to keep you going

The realization and transformation into her true self is satisfying. It doesn’t feel rushed or forced. It feels natural. My only irritation, though a minor one, comes from what’s at first mentioned in Chapter 3 where something happens that the first book says is impossible. It didn’t explain the change either so for people like me that notice details like that, it can be confusing or frustrating.

Just like the first book, this one has a bit of a cliff-hanger, but it’s not a desperate suspense. There’s enough hope that things aren’t doomed, enough to keep you wanting more.

Great book

I just love this series. So exciting did not put this one down. What a Great story I can't wait to get next one.

Action packed!

Another fabulous, action packed book. Another series that I can't get enough of. I love getting the other POV! This is such an emotional book. I love how strong Nix is and that she is figuring out she is so much more. I love Killian! I liked him from the first book and am glad to see more of him. He is trust worthy and willing to help. Khristine Hvam did another great job with the characters voices!

picking up the pace!

Stephanie has done an amazing job of picking up the pace of this series. The second book IS better than the first! And yes, in this book you get to discover what Nix really is!

Awesome, book 2

The book is so exciting. It was all action from start to finish. Friends betray, others stand up, strengths get stronger, loss of family, and hope is rekindled only to stall. I am so glad I tried this series. Can’t wait to move on to book 3! Highly recommend this series.

Love the audible. The narration is perfection. It kept the action buzzing and felt the pain and the loss as it happened. Love this book.

Kept me on my toes

The second book on Nix has continued to keep me on my toes. I drive for my job and these stories keep me alert for the next turn in the road and the story.
