enjoyable

I liked the story, it was overall pretty good....but there is a sex scene. just for those who want to know. For me I like to know.

New series for me

I had read some rough reviews on this series but I already had the book so I thought I would start it…I can always quit if need be. Well, I didn’t need to quit. I quite liked the Kit and definitely identified with her origin story having had a tough start in life myself. I enjoyed her smart mouth and her loving heart that softened for others in trouble even after the way much of the world treated her. The characters that inhabited her world kept the book interesting. If the rest of the series is as easy to like as Book 1, Blade Song, then I will continue to enjoy.

this book kept me listening non stop... the author clearly has a sense of humor and the performer reading this can tell a story with rich embellishment... i loved it

Surprisingly good!

I was totally surprised how much I got into this story, considering I picked it up from the plus catalog. Helped to make the time pass quickly as I removed the popcorn from my ceilings. Looking forward to the next in the series!

Great Book

I loved this new series book 1. I can’t wait to get to the next book. She is vulnerable yet strong and has a past that has really shaped her. There is so much room for more character growth and the continuation of her story. This book ended at a good place.

Great! Another author to become addicted to.

I was hooked on this story from the beginning. That is the sign of a great writer. Dean Koontz novels are like that. The first sentence has your attention, then on it goes, getting better and better. I loved it!

It’s a really good book you can really feel the frustration and anger the character feels the narrator did a wonderful performance but I Do warn you if you are not patient and you don’t like feeling frustrated or angry do not listen to this book because there is moments where you feel like you want to screaming either because you feel the emotion of the character being interpreted Very well or because she does something stupid and you’re like what the f@k

lives the story line. I love strong female leads and it has a lot of action. very good book

Better starting 4th chapter till end.

to much repetive diolog in 1-3 chapters. After those 3 it gets so much better.
