Loved it being from the perspective of someone older and more mature

Lot of unanswered questions and story uncertain for THIS story but says it's a standalone???

Great start to a new series...!

This one was different than your normal shifter story. I could use all of her new enhancements, lol! This was a Wonderful story. Narrators did a great job. I can't wait for the next story.

I loved this book so much! Lark is my new favorite character! I love how she responds to her struggles.
"It didn't break me. It transformed me."
I also love her unique magic. She's over forty and essentially experiences a reset.
The sentient wizard house is also my favorite character. I really enjoyed the imaginative setting and world-building. I look forward to more in this series.

Exciting

This first book in The Bitten Chronicles was great! This book follows Lark who finds out her marriage and life isn’t what she thought. The narrator was perfect as always. You won’t be disappointed with any of Brogan Thomas books

sweet midlife restart

a little thrown that this doesn't seem to take place in Brogan Thomas creatures of the otherworld world. but still excellent story and characters.

Awesome story!

Ms.Thomas did it again I loved every minute of this story, has twist and turns and action. The narrator did awesome as always. I love how she does the voices. She great in every story. The bonus chapters read by the male narrator was great too. I highly recommend this book!

Another fun read!

I loved this latest edition from Brogan Thomas! I have read all her books and love every single character! With her strong heroine writing and magically descriptive worlds, it is so easy and fun to get lost and submersed into these stories!

not worth it

waste of a credit. the narrator was good and the only reason I managed to finish. The story felt unfinished, the female lead was melodramatic especially after her transformation, the romance was non existent, complete waste of time. I hate that this story feels unfinished like rough draft and should have been longer. The female lead spent more time with her bodyguard than the male lead, that was boring too, Merrick was boring af and I'm so bummed. We don't know anything about him at all. This can't be classified as romance, there wasn't any. I won't be reading anything else by this author if this an example of her work.
