More than a year after she helped save the world from the Sparnaxian invasion, Andrea Vernon is in a good place. Her boss is giving her greater responsibility and she’s getting to travel a lot (although her fill-in is hopeless at making coffee); things could be getting even more serious with her 8’ 4” superhero boyfriend, The Big Axe; and she has a really fun new BFF, Never More.
Small issue, though, with that last item - Never More is a supervillain bent on world domination, and it looks as if nothing can stop her. Especially since Congress is determined to bring the Corporation for UltraHuman Protection and all of “Big Supe” under government control.
Even with mankind’s greatest heroes fighting back, will it fall on Andrea to save the day - again?

Funny and smart!
I loved the first Andrea Vernon, and this one might even be a little bit better! The narrator is amazing at voices and accents, the characters are interesting, and the story is fun. The author has presented a diverse group of characters and their superpowers are often unexpected. The political aspect was really well done, too. I am only disappointed that I can’t re-read this book in print.

SO MUCH FUN!!!!
So many things I loved about this, and I was worried it wouldn't live up to the first one! I want everyone to read this so they will understand why I keep saying GLLLLLAAAARRREEEEE!!! Bahni Turpin is hysterical and all the character voices are dead on. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Great sequel! Can't wait for the next one!
Another great adventure with new characters, plot twists and hilarious dialog. The performance is fantastic and really brings the story to life. Bonnie I don't know how you can keep all those voices and personalities straight!

Wow, another great one!
I have really enjoyed Mr. Kane's two CUP stories. They are some of the funniest and most creative books I've ever listened to (or read). The story is clever and engaging. More to the point, I smiled through the whole book (and when I wasn't smiling, I was laughing 'til my face was tired). The last few hours of the story dragged just a little bit (hence the 4 stars for story), but it is still better than most books. Ms. Turpin's narration was outstanding and deserves a lot of credit for this performance. Kudos!

Side-splitting FUNNY!!
If you want hours of hilarious entertainment, then you MUST listen to this book! This book is second in the series but is easy to enjoy as a stand-alone. The author is terrific and the narrator is FANTASTIC! You MUST listen to this series!!!

Hilarious
Okay, I thought book one was too funny, but I decided the second was even better. I can’t remember laughing so hard in a long time, please find Glare some permanent clothing! I had to stop and listen to Third Eye Blind’s Semi Charmed Life after I finally caught my breath again, Andrea rocks! Thank you Mr. Kane, you are incredible 😄

Republicans vs Democrats
I loved this book. It reminded me of the battles between the Republicans and the Democrats. The way the truth is constantly being told and ignored by the government is exactly what is taking place today. To top it all off, the obviously corrupt group is seizing power through deceit and violence just like in America today. Hopefully we can save our nation from the bad guys just like CUP is destined to do in the next book.

good fun light hearted story
lots of chuckles. lots of quotable lines "busier than a hockey team's dentist": being last one I recall. told with humor but below the cartoon like story line is serious thought on affairs of the heart, sexism, and racism.
