Wildly entertaining

I enjoyed this book is much as his other books. Finished it in a weekend.

Ridiculous, but well done

Too silly for my taste but … the story was skillfully written, and exquisitely performed. It was a please listening.

My kind of read... Uh... Listen!

Kane did a fantastic job of comedy that made me laugh as well as wit and adventure. The "flawed" characters were well rounded and likable. It was never boring, and I laughed outloud a few times. Excellent narration. Loved it!

Not what you expect from dragons - Way Better!

I love all of this author’s books and not only wish there were more books but more authors like him. The way he infuses pop culture and humor has me giggling, and I make my husband listen to the books with me a second time so we can enjoy the laughs together.

This is a fun twist on what the modern world would be like with dragons. Each of the characters has fun, distinct personalities and there are great quips all throughout.

I don’t have an audible subscription anymore but when I saw the author was releasing another book I had to buy it and am glad I did!

Loved This Book!

This book has everything for me: modern day setting with a fantasy story, hilarious dialogue, lovable characters, fun plot. From a dragon who decides to wear pants, a washed-up child star, and a feed and seed and bagel store set in Alabama. I loved everything about this story and the narrator was spot on with her comedic timing. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

Performance and story was stellar

This book and audio performance was fantastic. The story was entertaining and funny. This is absolutely worth a listen.

Had highs and lows fast and slow

Took a while to get into this story. At first it was just annoying and I almost gave up. I went back to see why in the world I bought this book. Then once I realized who the author was and my past experience with the superhero books it made more sense….I took a break and came back to it when I didn’t mind the snarky adolescent humor and lowered expectations. It’s a road trip type book in my opinion. But since I didn’t have any planned I decided to just finish it. I’m glad I did. The story picked up the last 3 hrs of the book. All in all it was not the greatest book with dragons but it was not bad. :)

The book ends on a cliffhanger…I hate that now I’m going to have to wait till the next book comes out to see what happens. :)
