I love this series. The author and narrator, both, have created another hit with this one. I can’t wait to add the next three to my audible library!

Do not read this book out of sequence! You’ll be sorry!

I loved the plot, the twists and turns - and I simply adored the narrator who brought it all to life. Suspend your belief and dive into a magical wild ride. Claire Emerson is a normal woman who finds herself in a supernatural world where anything is possible with her determination and her magic. If she could just control said magic, and her son. Follow her along a highly entertaining ride. And plan on buying the next book in the series, because it’s just that good.

The path becoming who you are 💕💕

Story continued to move. Nice to hear the reality of older women finding herself and her true power. Not just the concept of magic but the power within all of us if we only accept it.

Loved the characters all older and strong

That Claire didn’t embrace her power and find her voice. For me I’m very vocal and say pretty much anything that’s pops in.

Virtue signaling was unnecessary!

I was ok with the main character being weak, as she grows into her power.

I was not okay with the virtue signal -it had nothing to do with the story line and frankly is an insult to crones and women everywhere.


It’s a short mention, so far irrelevant to the story and I don’t understand why it’s even included except as a virtue signal. That one of the crones is trans and has preferred pronouns was disappointing. As I said had nothing to do with the story.

I'll start with the fact that I like the idea of the story but OMFgoddess the mfc really needs to remove her head from her ass, quit being scared of her own friggin shadow, actually focus, quit with the friggin non-stop pitty parties(so incredibly annoying 😑), and ACCEPT her power! I understand being belittled, verbally pushed around etc. for like 30 years and what that does to someone's confidence levels, but even if she didn't have Magick, as a woman, I'd tell her to own her power which starts with your thinking/mind.

I just can't deal with the whiny "I can't" and "nobody likes me" crap. pull up your big girl panties and do what needs doing or get tf out the way.

I tried 3 times to get through it. I could not get past chapter 4.
