Excellent story and fun performance!

What a wonderful experience - I didn't want it to end! Great story with so many geek references and, somehow, an extremely relatable lead character voiced by Felicia Day. The cast was excellent, full of beloved voices like Wil Wheaton, Sean Astin, Christopher Judge and even some from Day's The Guild (Wheaton, of course, but also Amy Okuda and Jeff Lewis). All narrated with the perfect level of snark and wit by Neil Gaiman. Loved it!

Fun and Heartwarming

I love Felicia Day and was excited to try this! This series was even better than I was expecting. It’s funny, heartwarming and excellent world building. The cast is stellar and I occasionally still head London Hughes in my head. Go listen now!

Amazing Production! Highly recommend!

Overall absolutely amazing!
The story was super interesting, funny, sweet, and frustrating. Everything all wrapped into one! The production of this audio book is the best I’ve ever heard! I felt like I was listening to a real movie that was playing. The characters were so unique and each wonderful! My only complaint was that it was not longer:) Highly recommend you give it a listen!

Please let this have a sequel!!

I love all things Felicia Day- and I was so excited to listen to this once I saw the cast.

It’s a story that rolls along at a great tempo that made me giggle on the regular. This is one of those great urban fantasies where the love interest doesn’t dominate as a side quest. The characters- I wanted to be part of their world. The sound production was perfect.

Very much worth it.

I only wish I could have more easily looked up who was voicing which character more easily rather than waiting until the end of the story.

Love Love Love!!

I love Felicia Day so much!! This story was so well constructed and so full of voice, fantastic characters, memorable moments, and my kind of humor. I love love loved this listen! Sean Astin is always such an amazing voice actor, and I am now in love with London Hughes. Kate, however, was the WORST. Her character was insufferable and had no redeeming qualities. Ugh. I hated when she was in a scene. I want Neil Gaiman to narrate my life, please. I loved Frank and Tracy! Ha! I definitely highly recommend this audio special!

Can’t imagine a better narrator than Neil Gaiman!

Everything about this was perfect. The story, the acting, the performance. I enjoyed it IMMENSELY. The narration was my absolutely fave and I equally love the subverted take on the chosen one trope.

An absolute delight!

I devoured this book over the last couple of days, extending my dog walks, and basically any alone time where I wouldn't be interrupted by anyone. The story has everything... romance, intrigue, hilarious humor, great cast... Just download it, already!
