About this listen

Cocky. Jaw-droppingly sexy. A patient in my emergency room.

As an ER nurse, I've seen a lot of things, but this might take the cake. Because the charming hottie packing a whole lotta somethin' somethin' beneath his hospital gown? He's all kinds of naughty trouble. And I have time for exactly none of it.

I didn't expect to see Cade again - never expected the guy I treated for a monster erection in my ER would turn out to be the sweet, single dad I'm now secretly lusting over.

Complicated doesn't even begin to cover it.

Note: This book was previously published with the title Hard to Love. It has been edited and modified from its original version.

Great book

This author has done it again. I thoroughly enjoy the books I have read. This one is one of my favorites. I hope she makes a follow up book to finalize the ending with a future for Kade and Alexa!

Cute

I thought the story was cute and sweet the story of how Cade and Alexa met was funny and I like how they fell in love my only problem was the reason Alexa chose to not get back together with Cade because he was a porn star when she new this from the beginning and never even asked him why and just kept jumping to conclusions about him kinda of bugged me but the story was still good.

love Kendall Ryan.

Her stories are fabulous, the perfect combination of lust, laughter, and great storytelling. I highly recommend that you read as many of her books as you can.

Not for me

I really like Kendall Ryan's other books. This one was disappointing. I'll try not to give any spoilers. The vocal performances were good but the story and characters were underdeveloped. Mackenzie's treatment of Cade was reductive and cringeworthy in the beginning of the book and Alexa's treatment of him isn't much better. The whole second meeting was cringeworthy. The story felt rushed and honestly, in the later part of the book, I would have thought Cade could do better than Alexa. I am not sure how we are supposed to sympathize with Alexa who clearly has no sense of money. Also, the title of this book is a misnomer. There are no dares. If I were you, I'd pick a different Kendall Ryan book. This one is not the best.

Sad...

I normally love anything Kendall Ryan puts out, but this one was a fail for me. Andi was amazing as always & this was my first time listening to Tim his main character’s voice was really good, but not all the extras.

I personally don’t think it’s worth the money

Not too sure how to feel about this one.

If I'm being honest, the only reason I used a credit on this book is because I saw that Andy Arndt was one of the narrators. Because in my mind, if Andy is narrating, its gonna be good. Now I have listened to quite a few of Kendall Ryans books and enjoyed them immensely. But I am REALLY struggling on this one. Tim Paige isn't a narrator that I am very familiar with, and he did a good job. However, my struggle with this book is that I'm not sure IF it was Tim's narration, or the content. AGAIN I very much enjoy Kendall Ryans books, but this one seemed a little "porny" if you will. Not just because of Cades "side job." Andy's narration was great...everything I would have hoped for and have come to expect from her, but Tim's part just baffles me. I can't decide if it was the way he narrated his parts or the content. This struggle im having took away from me really being able to fully enjoy one of Kendalls books. IDK maybe I need to listen to it again, but it truly has me baffled. I'm giving the narration 4 stars because of Andy. And I'm going to find some other books that Tim has narrated, and maybe see if that will help me decide what felt off about this book.
