TIMID VIRGIN SHAKES HANDSOME PLAYBOY'S WORLD

Nice easy-going contemporary romance with a little angst. Powerful bad boy Billionaire who has a reputation for 'nail n bail' is suddenly rescued by an angel..... one he can't stop thinking/lusting/romancing over. His angel is a shy, sweet, timid virgin who gets out of her depth with him fast. But he's holding back big secrets that he knows will totally destroy their relationship and it's only a matter of time before the cat's out of the bag and the shit's hitting the fan.

It's a predictable but enjoyable listen told from both POV's there's romance, passion, humor, sex, f bombs, drama, character growth, a dilemma and a heartfelt HEA but, for me, the narration was a bit too 'girlie' which made the heroine sound like a teenager.

Worth a credit? If you're in the mood for a light romance then look no further and YES creditworthy. This series follows on from the Billionaire Boys Club as there are all the characters from that series attending the wedding but it's absolutely not necessary to listen to those first.... it's just nice to catch up with them.

I really love the story.

The narrator sucked. It was hard to follow and listen to at first I had to start it from the beginning twice. My husband was like umm that person is just reading.

I read the reviews and it stated the same thing, but I like the preview and thought I could make it through it.

I will not purchase another book with this narrator again. If I can help it

Overall enjoyable.

The first chapter was a but rough as the narrator came off a kinda whiny. I almost didn't keep listening. Luckily the whiny tone down and the rest of the book was narrated pretty well. I enjoyed the story very much and the details provided about the characters. A book about two unlikely characters finding what they both needed in each other, both becoming better for it. I would reccomend if you like quirky starts and overcoming interesting hurdles in relationships.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This book wasn't what I expected it to be. Don't get me wrong. It was a sweet romantic love story. I just found it a bit too unrealistic and contrived. I found the writing a little immature. I didn't like the vocal reading. There was something wrong with the inflections in her voice.

Weirdly awkward

Awkward in a good way at times. You're either going to love or hate this book. You kind of just have to give it a chance and see what happens.

Where does The Billionaire and the Virgin rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book would be in the middle because the narrator almost ruined it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The narrator made the tough men characters to sound so breathy and feminine it was hard to pass over. This made the female characters better than the male.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Way too feminine to pull off these hard males. She needs to be the narrator in an all female book, cause she can not pull off the males.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No, I actually listened to this book one and did not listen much because of the narrator. Then, I listened again because I usually like the author. this time I was prepared for the narrator and worked hard at listening rather than letting her interfere with the story.

Any additional comments?

This is worth a listen if you can get past the breathy males. I will probably listen to the rest of the series, but hope the narrator changes.
