About this listen

A sexy new brother's best friend romance from New York Times best-selling author Kendall Ryan.

There are a few things you should know about my brother’s roommate.

Wolfie Cox is...complicated. And incredibly sexy. Unfortunately, he has an impressive stick lodged so far up his ass, he’s about as emotionally available as a chinchilla. Actually, that might be an insult to the chinchilla community.

So, naturally, I want to ride him like a bicycle.

He thinks I hate him. Mostly because I’ve led him to believe this. It’s easier than admitting the truth.

And while Wolfie is about as soft and cuddly as a fork, I’m the opposite. A good girl. Reliable. Conscientious. Oh, and completely panicked about an upcoming work conference.

Wolfie’s usually allergic to altruism, so when my brother convinces him to help me out by escorting me to said conference where everyone else will have a plus-one...I say thanks, but no thanks.

Surprisingly, Wolfie is unflinching about this. And that’s the story about how I got stuck in a hotel room with my brother’s hot (grouchy) roommate.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

In all seriousness, this isn’t a game to me, and hormones aside, I need to impress my boss this week so the promotion I’ve worked hard for doesn’t get handed to his worthless nephew. But with Wolfie and me sharing a hotel bed, things get confusing quickly.

This is book two in the Frisky Business series, but each book can be listened to as a complete stand-alone.

Cute!

Mixed feelings on this one. The narration was perfection (Andi & Jacob) of course. Now on the story line wasn’t my favorite with that being said I love Kendall Ryan books. This one was just a little weak for me. But overall cute.

Finding a healer that sets you free...

The is an amazingly serious story…with the main focus being on a young man who is sexual traumatized as a teen-age boy and it has affected his whole life. Fortunately, Wolfie, this young man, older and now an entrepenaur, who meets up with a sweet girl named Penelope who helps him heal. And one of my favorite parts of the book happened when Penelope tells her brother Connor, who also happens to be Wolfie’s good friend and roommate, about their hook-up and he was happy about it..not the norm for sure. It is a great read and something out of the norm for a romance novel…and that makes it 5 stars for me.
Jacob Morgan and Andi Arnt made the book come alive...

Brilliant narration!

First off I have to say Jacob Morgan could read anything to me, his voice sends me into a dream state. Honestly! I was listening in my car and oh boy....it was hard to pay attention to driving lol
Anyway...this audiobook is absolutely amazing! The emotions of the characters are narrated so well I had trouble pausing as everyday life was getting in my way.
My Brothers Roommate is about Wolfie and Penelope. Its a rather emotional story and you can definitely empathize with the characters. The banter is entertaining, the whole audiobook just resonated in me and I can honestly say Im excited for more of this series!
A really enjoyable heatwarming, beautiful story!

A story that will grab you from the start...

Narrated by Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt and it not what I was expecting in the second book in the Frisky Business Series. Their storytelling made it a listen that will bring out the feels. This is a brother's best friend story between Wolfie Cox & Penelope Blake that was filled with reveals that you would not expect.

Penelope needed an escort to her company's retreat and unexpectedly her brother offers that his friend and roommate Wolfie and her go together. Little did they know that this was a start of a fake relationship that begins to slowly reveal how much she always wanted him and even makes a move. The reaction from that impulse was one that changed things and had her mind wondering what happened.

This one was different because it entailed a past that had you feeling for the characters. It will have you falling for their story because it was more than just getting together with someone you have always been attracted too and has grown into something more. Being able to open up on something that has affected you to someone you did not expect. Two people who are different; however, perfect for one another.

Good story with great narrators...4.5 stars!

Oh, Wolfie, Wolfie, Wolfie... Can I rank this guy as one of my all-time favorite Kendall Ryan male main characters? I love an MC with layers to them and has a back story that entices me to become more invested in them. I really liked the chemistry that he had with Penelope. These two were fun to get to know and seeing how far they came in terms of their relationship reminded of why I love reading romance as much as I do. Kendall Ryan always gives me what I need when it comes to this genre, and she always seems to have a knack for finding just the right narrators for her audiobooks, as evidenced by having Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt bring Wolfie and Penelope to life. Two of my all-time favorite narrators and one of my go-to favorite authors blending talents in one audiobook? Yes, please and thank you! 4.5 stars for My Brother's Roommate.

I usually really enjoy her books but so far this series is just okay. There wasn’t good wrap ups on the first two. The second book didn’t even talk about Wolfie’s sister and Hays. In a series I like to see the progression of the other relationships. Narrators were awesome!
