About this listen

It all started with a sexy selfie.

Texted to the wrong number.

Oops.

Not my finest moment - but I have nothing to be ashamed of.

She thought I was no better, and I quote, than the knuckle-dragging douchebags she was never dating again.

It was a stupid dare from a girl I’d met online, but since she’d given me a fake number, I didn’t feel bad that my interests were suddenly focused elsewhere - on the fiery and sharp-tongued Peyton that I found myself sparring with over text for the rest of the evening.

The following day, my case of mistaken identity came back to bite me in the banana.

When I strolled into the office, I was introduced to Peyton as the new client I needed to win over. The Peyton, in case you're not tracking.

And let’s just say she had my full attention.

Brains? Check.

Beauty? Oh yeah.

And the best part? She hated me on sight.

Dear God, do I love a challenge.

Let the games begin.

Includes a special scene from The Hookup Handbook at the very end read by Jason Clarke!

Good but cliche

I didn’t like the girl doing the guy voices it sounded the same as the grams voice. Sometimes a bit cliche, especially the middle end didn’t hate it but would’ve rather picked a different book.

I expected more banter

I felt the Blurb a bit misleading, still I enjoyed it.

there was no true conflict just funny situations with a load of misunderstandings but with a grandmother like the one our heroine has just had me grining at it's conclusion.

these Narrators are my go too safe to say if they are performing I'll listne.

Some of Ryan's best work yet!

Junk Mail has to be some of Kendall Ryan's best work yet! Not to mention that cover... who can walk by that gorgeous thing and not want to pick it... read the blurb or the first chapter? You'd have to have mystical powers to walk by that beauty without feeling interest, without a spark. I think I've said this for Miss Ryan's last few books but Junk Mail is hilarious. There's so much awkward, inappropriateness that I snorted... yes, I snorted with laughter. Kendall Ryan has a vicious and surprising humor. She sneaks up on you and causes barks of laughter.

So, I think you get from the paragraph above that I was delighted with Peyton and Josh's story. The Grams in this story is just what we all want in an overly-nosy busy body that is wildly improper but insanely entertaining. I was seriously enamored with the storyline and can see the plausibility in the storyline. Which is really what made the story seem so light and fun to begin with. Plus with these two fighting the attraction so hard and all the fun back-and-forth banter... it was totally engrossing. Plus finished it in one evening.

The two narrators are just fabulous! I can't help but be mesmerized by Joe Arden's voice. It's so strong and sexy... it's like cold glass of lemonade on a hot day... cool and refreshing with some tang to wake ya up! Savannah Peachwood is a great ying to Arden's yang. She's a bit softer and sweeter sounding. However, she has some strength to her voice too!

A fun-filled, lighthearted listen!

Truth be told, I've never received an unsolicited dick pic (thank goodness!), and I honestly would most probably immediately delete the darn thing anyway. In Junk Mail, however, Peyton isn't just taken aback by the one she receives but is rather...ummm...mesmerized by it. And thus begins the love story of Peyton and Josh. While the blurb makes it seem as if their story is an enemies-to-lovers romance, but trust me, it isn't. The dick pic doesn't spark any sort of hate on Peyton's part, and she certainly didn't hate Josh the first time they meet. What these two have, however, is a strong connection that they can't quite ignore, but if it threatens the business deal that they've got in the works, will they sacrifice the personal relationship that they're building or the professional one that could benefit both their businesses? Well, you're going to have to listen to the audiobook to see how that all turns out. Suffice it to say that Kendall Ryan has another winner on her hands with this lighthearted story and with Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood narrating, things only got better. I'm giving Junk Mail 4.5 stars for the story and five stars for the narration. ♥

FUN & FLIRTY ROMCOM W/ AMAZING NARRATION!

Josh is handsome man living in Manhattan. Having his sole focus be his career and company, he finds himself single and in need of some female attention. He decides to try his luck at online dating and makes a connection with someone. That someone turns out to be a girl with quite a daring request: a d*ck pic! He decides to grace her with the racy picture only to realize after a not so friendly reply, that he sent it to the wrong number! What starts off as a cringe-worthy moment quickly turns into a fun and flirty exchange with the person, Peyton, on the receiving end of the sexy photo. Josh is read to move on and leave it be as an embarrassing, but funny mistake until he realizes that the potential business partner he has a meeting with is the same Peyton that’s seen his junk mail.

Oh. My. God! If there was a scale on cute and adorable in a romcom, Junk Mail would totally max it out! From the hilarious beginning to the fantastic banter between Josh and Payton, to the most hilarious grandma there ever was this book has me in stitches and “aww-ing” like I was in a room full of puppies! This story was so much fun! I loved this couple and all the secondary characters as well. Well, maybe not Brody. Steamy, flirty, fun, and adorable this is another win for Kendall Ryan and anyone who loves romcoms.

Narration by Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood was stellar. Only Joe Arden’s voice could make Josh’s character more attractive and boy does he! Not only is his voice sexy as all get out, his comedic timing is spot on. Savannah Peachwood is one of my favorite female narrators because she can go from sexy to vulnerable to girl next door in a snap. She’s also fabulous at making secondary characters distinct. Together they brought Junk Mail to life perfectly and made 5 hours fly right by. 5 stars.

Quick enjoyable read

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters, especially Gram.
It was sweet and funny, with a hint of trouble for the characters... though all the issues were either explained ahead of time or easily resolved so no suspense for the reader.

Just a quick enjoyable read between something with more content.

it kept a huge smile on my face.

Kendall Ryan always does a great job writing sweet and steamy reads, but what set Junk Mail apart from some of her others is that it was pretty funny. This story had a lot of endearing characters and it kept a huge smile on my face.

Josh and Peyton have something in common. They both take their careers seriously and don’t have much time to date. Josh decides to do something new and tries a dating app. When someone on the app asks for a picture of his junk, he obliges. The picture ends up in Peyton’s texts completely unsolicited. This wouldn’t be a big deal, except for the fact that Peyton and Josh end up meeting for a joint business venture just after that. Talk about awkward…

Still, these two have so much chemistry. Their relationship is sexy and loads of fun. One of my favorite things about this book was the heroines grandma and her relationship with her. She cracked me up. Junk Mail is narrated by Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood and they both did a great job voicing Josh and Peyton. This book was especially fun to listen to and I would recommend the audio format.

Although there was a little unnecessary drama due to some lack of communication, overall I really enjoyed this one. If you’re looking for something light and fun with just the right amount of sweet and sexy pick this one up!
