Jim (aka Kid Sensation) counts himself fortunate in that his friends have always been there for him, and he - in turn - tries to be there for them. That’s why it is with a great deal of enthusiasm that he looks forward to attending an event honoring his friend, the teen warlock Kane. However, his plans are immediately complicated by two factors. First, an emissary from the nigh-omnipotent group of beings known as Incarnates unexpectedly appears on his doorstep. Completely intrepid in the face of danger, he’s never shied away from a crisis, no matter how difficult the assignment or how great the menace. But now he faces a task that even he dreads: hunting down his friend and mentor, Mouse.

Moreover, at the Academy itself, an insidious and highly contagious virus is running amok.

Despite unimaginable odds, Marine Lieutenant Gant Maker has once again done the impossible, defeating the alien Vacra’s invasion force and nullifying their unstoppable doomsday device. With their armada destroyed and their fleet crippled, the Vacra resort to the inconceivable: They sue for peace via an unexpected envoy. Fresh off his highly improbable victory, Maker now finds himself faced with the unenviable and undesirable task of escorting the Vacra representative home. However, he soon learns that the stakes are far higher than he ever imagined.

The pressure of being a super - especially a teen super - can get to anyone, as Jim (aka Kid Sensation) has witnessed firsthand. Now he wonders if he himself might be succumbing to the strain in some way, as he can't shake the feeling that he is now being watched by some new stalker. Moreover, despite his wide slate of powers, he hasn't been able to discover a single clue to substantiate the existence of this potential new enemy, making him wonder if it's all in his head.

Mouse - the mysterious man with the unassuming moniker (and the mentor of teen super Kid Sensation) - finally has his story told. Brilliant and gifted, Mouse is a mental whiz who fails utterly in his initial attempts to join a superhero team. With his dream ostensibly out of reach, he eventually ends up working at an electronics repair shop, toiling in relative obscurity but seemingly content and at peace with the hand fate has dealt to him. However, a surprise visit from the Alpha League - the world's premier team of superheroes - changes all of that in a heartbeat.

Having saved the distant world of Caeles and its interstellar empire - not to mention the life of its ruler, Queen Dornoccia - Jim (aka Kid Sensation), returns to Earth with two notable prizes. The first is his long-missing grandmother, the alien Princess Indigo. The other is Queen Dornoccia’s great-great-granddaughter, Myshtal, who is a princess in her own right and a budding superhero. And thanks to the machinations of the queen, she’s also Jim’s titular fiancee, a fact that puts something of a damper on Jim’s relationship with his girlfriend, Electra.

Having a surfeit of super powers is great for battling bad guys and saving the world, as Jim (aka Kid Sensation) is finding out, but less useful in dealing with day-to-day situations - like bonding with his superhero father, adjusting to a team environment, and coping with what might be perceived as a growing rivalry between himself and another teen super. On top of all that, despite having a serious girlfriend, he finds himself inexplicably drawn to a new female super he's just met.

As the grandson of the alien princess Indigo, Jim (aka Kid Sensation) has always known that, technically, he's royalty. That said, he'd be the first to admit that he's never lived any kind of regal lifestyle - no titles, no castles, no crown jewels. However, the arrival of a courier from his grandmother's home world changes all of that in an instant. By royal edict, Jim is summoned home to the distant planet Caeles in order to claim an alien inheritance.

Master Sergeant Gant Maker was a highly decorated and well-respected marine - until his last mission left him as the sole survivor of an encounter with a vicious race called the Vacra. Served up as a scapegoat and drummed out of the military, he has since lived a life of seclusion with only an adopted alien as a companion. Now the Vacra have returned.

Everyone needs help occasionally - even supers with amazing powers - and Jim (aka Kid Sensation) is no exception. Having previously received aid from a young psychic named Rudi, Jim feels obligated to return to the favor and rescue her from the federal facility where she's being held. But breaking into a top-secret, heavily-fortified government installation is never a walk in the park, especially when said installation has top-of-the-line security systems, trigger-happy guards, and its own team of formidable supers. It will take a bold and audacious plan to get Jim inside.

At the edge of known space, Marine Lieutenant Gant Maker continues his vengeful pursuit of the alien race known as the Vacra. Now confirmed to have stolen weapons and tech so advanced that it can’t even be classified, the Vacra represent a menace unlike anything mankind has ever faced. For Maker, the threat is also personal, as the treacherous and cunning insectoids - still smarting from their stunning defeat at his hands during their last encounter - have specifically targeted him for capture, along with his exotic alien companion, Erlen.

Part lawman, part tracker and part magician, the Wardens are monster-hunters—tasked with protecting people from the nightmarish creatures that have invaded the world of men. However, despite being descended from a long line of Wardens, Errol Magnus believes it to be the absolute worst job on the planet: How could a single occupation simultaneously be the most boring, abominably stupid and extraordinarily dangerous profession imaginable?

Recruited by a colleague for a mysterious mission and transported to a realm beyond space and time, Jim finds himself thrust into the company of Incarnates - individuals with powers and abilities so vast that they can do almost anything, including warp reality. But these esteemed personages are plagued by a dark issue, for which they turn to Jim for help: One amongst them is a murderer. Charged with finding this killer, Jim soon realizes the inherent folly of pursuing an individual who is power personified and able to alter reality with the wave of a hand.

Electra - the beautiful, unflappable girlfriend of teen super Kid Sensation - headlines her own adventure for the first time. A foundling adopted and raised by the Alpha League (the world's greatest superhero team), Electra has exhibited super powers since infancy. However, her past has remained a mystery for the most part, with those few people with any knowledge of her background being reluctant to talk.

Errol longs for just a single day to pass that doesn't require him to put his life in danger. His desire for a respite, however, is complicated by two things: the arrival of a mysterious troupe of performers and the appearance of a bloodthirsty creature that kills its victims in a horribly gruesome fashion. Now Errol must determine what connection - if any - exists between the troupe and the killings, as well as find a way to stop the monster before the body count goes any higher.
