Gryff has finally captured Miralea and Utuni, the two goddesses who wreaked havoc upon the Southern Continent. Now, it’s time to go home. Or…at least that was the plan. But after a surprise rift and a hurricane, Gryff finds himself stranded on an unknown island with his friends nowhere in sight. Gryff and his team have tracked down the Archon Miralea to her temple fortress. But that was the easy part. Now, they must fight their way through her hundreds of crazed followers, continue to survive the perils of the jungle, and try to defeat their third Archon.

In an academy that trains people to deal with monsters and mayhem, there's one challenge even Gryff may not be ready to face: final exams. On the plus side, he'll capture a giant armored monster and get to ride around on its shoulder while the beast smites things with its sword.

Gryff is finally returning to Mistral. But home is not the same as he left it, and neither is he. Now, Gryff has to figure out how to reintegrate himself into his classes and the Academy, just in time for midterms. Oh, and he’s got a wedding to plan, too.

Gryff has gained a new power and a new shape-shifting wife. But his impromptu vacation is over. When his Mistral friends find him again, they inform him that Varleth is still missing, and the Archon Veopa has awakened in the country of Vay. Now, it’s up to Gryff to search for his friend and hopefully bring peace to the shape-shifting territories.

Seth, the Adventurers' Guild, and their temporary allies the Transportation Guild made it through the monstrous wilderness to Askua, marking the first known successful travel from Efril to another country in countless generations. Seth adopts summoner as his secondary class, gaining abilities related to capturing and summoning monsters. Things aren't so happy, though, when they find out that Askua is on the brink of civil war.

Now, before we talk about how fantastic I am at making world leader decisions, let’s talk about how great this sequel is. I've read many sequels, and all were bad. Very very bad. But this one? It's the best. And not just because I'm in it. No. Well, yes. I’m in it, and I always do a fantastic job with everything.
