I was hanging out with some buddies, doing a little caving, when everything went south. When I woke up, I was in some kind of medieval dungeon. Totally naked and in the dark. When she explained to me that she was due to be executed and I was in line to be brainwashed, there was only one thing to do. We had to escape.

Until, of course, the inn closed, and the party stopped happening. Now Georgia Carpenter has decided it’s time to restart that tradition, even though the party is a massive undertaking and one that will influence how people feel about the inn for the rest of the year. With the help of her sister, Lilly, Georgia hopes to put on an event that will be merry and bright and spark new interest in the business.

New beginnings await Georgia Carpenter as opening day for the Sea Glass Inn approaches. It’s all very exciting, but there are a million things to be done. And a million fires to be put out. With the constant reminder that nothing good ever comes easy, she and Travis Taylor, her handsome handyman, conquer each problem that arises, bringing them closer than ever before. But is it all happening too fast? Georgia isn’t sure, and doubts begin to creep in. Maybe it’s time to put the brakes on things. Or is she letting her past dictate her future?

On the suggestion of my exquisite prophetess Qamara, we’re heading to the Traisel Commonwealth, a land of myriad beastkin communities. I’m not sure what we’ll find there, but I expect my uninvited frequent visitor will make an appearance. You’d think that having a smoking hot catgirl following you around would be a good thing, but it’s not in this case. She’s an assassin, and she’s tried to kill me several times already. Truly a bad kitty.

When dungeon doors all over the world closed and locked on the same day, people weren’t too concerned. Though arcstone, the material that powered most of the world’s devices, could only be found in the dungeon, they still had plenty on hand. The doors would open again, surely. Then the anomalies began to appear. Snatching up people, never to be seen again. This was the world Phineas Lenville was born into thirty years later.

After the heartbreaking events in Greyveil, my sexy blue-skinned companion Brin, my irritating satyr tagalong Tip, and I head to Forgehaven. The city obsessed with turning metal into anything one could wish for. While searching the city for Brin’s missing magical items, I literally run into a gorgeous green woman. A goblin girl. Her father, a renowned blacksmith, has been murdered and she needs help finding out who did the deed. With no other leads on how we’ll find our way to dispense justice to the ones responsible for my best friend’s death, we agree to help her.

It’s been a rough couple of months, trying to keep out of the Aycrishi Sodality’s crosshairs. Sometimes it seems like we might never have a permanent home. Don’t get me wrong, wherever I am with my gorgeous foxgirl wife Ysduil feels like home. With my ferocious and ultra-hot, green-skinned warrior Glasha and my voluptuous bunny girl Amelie alongside us, I’m happier than I can ever remember being, but I want more for them. A home. A family. Safety.

We’re not sure if the Aycrishi Sodality will help us, or if they’ll take the opportunity to try to kill us as we defend our home.

But hey, did I mention the gorgeous elf woman? Sariel Snowblossom has a problem. One we can help her with. To get justice, she must undertake the trials to become a swordmaster. But it’s not as easy as it sounds. In addition to defeating skilled sword wielders all over the Aesturith Kingdom in a dueling circuit, there are other dangers about.

Our little startup town is doing well and we’re even gaining new allies. Local monster girl tribes are finally coming around, wanting to be friends. Some wanting to be more than friends. Small victories, though still good. But that invasion thing, that’s a kick in the nuts. We’re looking at something that could possibly destroy everyone on Tenos. To defend the world, we’re going to need to gain a lot more allies. There’s the Sodality, as much as I hate to think about it, but there may be others as well. Some of them rather mysterious, possibly even fabulous. We’ll take all we can get.

Lars af Dracas overhears the Noaidi predict the future of all vampires; if the clans don’t reunite, they will go extinct. His father sends out a message to the other four remaining clans to join forces. On the mystical ship the Elisabetha, the other vampire clans come to an understanding. At the market Alisa’s fangs accidentally pop out and humans panic because she’s a vampire.

Alisa needs both Nicu and Lars to get to know the Redmasks’ plans. The other heirs train to form a strong front. It takes the clan leaders some time to get used to this new status quo on the ship. It takes the support of the Conte to convince the other clan leaders to do it their way. Nicu has to come face to face with his greatest nightmare. The race to the Knot is on.

Overflown with emotions Alisa has to confide in Lars and Ivy about what is going on with her. Inspired by the openness of Alisa, Ivy tells her about how she and her brother Seymour ended up on the ship. They know Tonka is on a mission to steal the rubies. Hindrik sends Raphaëla to check if the rubies are safe. They’re not. Raphaëla gets into a fight with Tonka.
