  • Episode 6: Rawdah Mohamed
    May 22 2024

This week’s guest is a true powerhouse that cannot be defined by one title. Rawdah is an internationally acclaimed model, yet she uses her social platform to discuss and shine a light on issues that go much deeper than just fashion. Rawdah lived in a refugee camp in Somalia before moving with her family to Norway as a young child. This experience has shaped her outlook on life, and Rawdah’s main mission is to instil the same values she was raised with in Somalia into her young daughter, who experiences a very different upbringing in Norway.

As Rawdah explains to Susanne, her ‘opinions are non-negotiable’. Dignity and self-worth are so much more valuable to Rawdah than any cover could be, and she knows she doesn’t need to pander to anyone to get what she wants; no matter how powerful they may seem to be. In this insightful conversation, Rawdah speaks to Susanne about her life so far, her career and her guiding principles that have taken her this far.

  • Episode 7: Dr. Torkil Færø
    May 29 2024

Dr. Torkil Færø is an emergency physician, general practitioner, documentary filmmaker, photographer and freelance doctor with a career that spans 25 years. Over this time he’s developed a unique insight into the modern way of life; how it affects our bodies and our minds and how it can have a detrimental effect on our wellbeing. His wealth of experience on the matter led him to write his now bestselling book, The Pulse Cure, which teaches how we can use HRV, or Heart Rate Variability, to enhance our nervous system, decrease inflammation and ultimately feel better.

HRV is the exploration of what our heart rate can tell us about our physical health and also our mental wellbeing. Although stressors may be caused by the modern world, The Pulse Cure demonstrates how we can also harness modern technologies like our phones, smart watches and aura rings to overcome them.

Dr. Færø’s findings in The Pulse Cure have had a big impact on Susanne’s own wellness journey, and HRV is something that’s become a key aspect of her everyday life. However, Dr. Færø and Susanne have more than just heart rates on their minds. Join them for this special discussion that ranges from modern living, working and taking a moment for gratitude every day.
