Our journey in the world of ADHD began when our daughters were diagnosed with the disorder. Alissa Lozinski, a dear friend who has been through the same journey, joins me as we peel back the layers of our experiences parenting neurodivergent children. In our candid conversation, we uncover the initial struggle of diagnosis, the maze of sensory issues, and the various strategies we've implemented, including occupational therapy, neurofeedback, and parent coaching. Among these is neurofeedback, a technique that shows promise in regulating brain function and behavior. As parents, we've learned that understanding neurodivergence is the first step towards a fulfilling life for our children. We invite you to join us as we share our story, hoping to provide comfort, insights, and perhaps even a new perspective on parenting neurodivergent children.
