• Offended at God
    Oct 1 2024
    Are you offended at God?

There was a time in Jesus’ life when people from His hometown were offended at Him. They thought they knew Him, that they understood Him, that He was even one of them.

Then, Jesus started doing things they weren’t expecting. He revealed His authority and His power and they were offended.

This happens to us. We think we know God, that we have Him figured out, but then He reveals His authority in our lives. We’re taken aback, we’re confused.

Don’t allow yourself to be offended at God. You don’t have God, He has you! Allow Him to reveal His authority in your life, because He is such a good king.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

  • We Know in Part
    Sep 30 2024
    We don’t know everything.

Even though we have the Bible to guide us, and the Holy Spirit living inside us, sometimes we just get it wrong. Sometimes we misunderstand the Scriptures. Sometimes we think we know where God is leading us, and we realize later we made a mistake.

When we share the Good News of Jesus with others, it’s so important to remember. We are saved by grace alone, not anything we’ve accomplished. The joy of introducing people to Jesus means that they get to share in His forgiveness, over and over and over again.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians…

All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

Don’t wait until you feel perfect. That day will never come. Share the truth in love, with humility, today.

  • Keep Your Eyes on the Invisible One
    Sep 27 2024
What if I told you- you have the ability to see something that’s invisible?

Listen to this verse from the Bible: Hebrews 11:27,

By faith that Moses left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He persevered because he saw him who is invisible.

This verse is talking about a different kind of sight. Moses was not literally seeing God at that point in the story. He was seeing, believing, and staying focused on God through his “eyes” of faith. Listening in prayer and obediently responding and you can live this way as well.

These are all the things that you can do. You’ll never be Moses, but you are you. And you follow Jesus, and you will learn to keep your eyes on the One who is invisible. Who can you invite to join you as you learn to see God through eyes of faith?

  • See His Invisible Qualities
    Sep 25 2024
When you look at the natural world around you, you’re training yourself to understand the One who made it.

Some think of creation as God’s most universal way of revealing Himself.-His power and majesty. A visual representation of the beauty, order, and goodness that are so essential to His very own character.

Listen to this verse from Romans 1…

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and the sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

When you share the Good News of Jesus, you can point to the wonders of nature—all creation belongs to God. It readily testifies to who He is, and it’s all around us for everyone to see.

  • We Carry Treasure
    Sep 24 2024
God has seen fit to deposit His treasure in us.

    Isn’t that stunning?

2 Corinthians 4 tells us that the treasures of God’s light-, His mercy, His knowledge, His presence- live in us by His spirit. You might think: I’m broken and weak, I fail so many times.

He’s also said I know how you’re formed, I know that you are dust. Yet, it is His pleasure and His will to live in us, to mold us and change us and to even use us.

Do you have the treasure of His presence in you? You can. Ask Him today. Just say, Lord, fill me with Yourself so that I can reflect Your treasure to the world around me.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation…

We see the full outplaying of our invisible God’s character— in the person of Jesus Christ.

Will you tell someone today about the life of Jesus? He is the visible, tangible, human form of the invisible God who created it all.
